Oh my god, a horror game with this art style sounds amazing. One thing I've found out from watching old cartoons (and Cuphead gameplay) is that animation of this era/style genuinely unsettles me, without even needing any scary content.

well simply the older styles of cartoons always had something dark to them like dark humor and more with there animations talking about at times war, hell related stuff and more, but it always gives it some kind of cheery looking style despite it, which what allows it to feel ever so unsettling is just those smiles while doing all of this weirdly dark stuff
