BMPCC ORIGINAL / NATURAL ARRI REC709 LOOK

- I sat on my bike and took a few shots with the pocket before sunset. Black Pro Mist and IR cut seem to work well together and maybe help eliminate the moire problem. In the post-production, I tried to achieve the "ARRI look" by protecting the highlights.
Edited and graded in Resolve 17

Every time I see footage from the OG it still blows me away. Such an amazing little camera. This footage is no exception. Bravo.
Thank you!
Ever since I've used the ARRI luts on the 4K I've wondered if anyone's done the same for the OG. Nice.
I use the arri lut on the OG
awesome footage, i think one of the best i'v seen shooted on bmpcc actually!
I love the natural look.
Hermoso, BMPCC OG ❤❤❤
Wow, the look you achieved is really wonderful, congrats.
Thank you!
Amazing shots, beautiful work!! 🏆
Thank you!
Wow, this is absolutely outstanding!
Thank you!
Amazing!
Thanks!
Beautiful
Thank you!
lovely
beautiful!
Thank you!
nice footage! I am still a fan of the old pocket / micro picture quality
Köszi uram!
Amazing footage
Thank you!
That is bad ass!
Hello, do you have any grading videos? I would love to see a breakdown of these images. Amazing work.
bro this looks like film straight up, wow.
Thank you!
Very Cool!
Thanks!
Nice shooting and grading!💪 I have the OG, but also have a rigged up bmmcc, so thinking about keeping the pocket naked and running a compact 20 or 25mm Olympus or lumix OIS lens so that I actually put it to use more often. I guess it’s kinda the point of cool things - to be really cool they need to be convenient enough to be used and appreciated often...
Thanks!
I also had a micro before and really liked it,but the pocket is much easier to use for run and gun situations. Otherwise, if you are looking for a cheap and stabilized lens, I recommend the Lumix 14-42mm, or if it might be a little more expensive, the 12-35mm is still the best in my opinion.
@@imrebiro2760 luckily, I bought a Lumix G9 for stills that came with the Leica 12-60mm kit.. i just also like the little pancake pani lenses to keep the "pocket" form true... but youve really got me excited to try the OIS lens on the pocket handheld!
So fantastic. I want one so bad
Thank you!
Hey, man. Congrats for such an incredible work. This might be the best BMPCC Og footage that I've seen. I was wondering if you could share a bit about your grading process
Thank you! Resolve Color Space Transform, I convert from Blackmagic Film to Arri Log C and apply Arri Rec709 Lut at the end, than desaturate shadows and highlights.
So happy to see a channel that has original bmpcc footage without a fucking orange teal lut slapped over it .
Great job dude I miss my old bmpcc
Thank you! I prefer the natural look, but in many cases the orange teal look also works well.
Dope did you use the bmcc 2.5k version & what lut is this its amazing
Nice!
Thanks!
Nice! Did you slow down the footage? If so, how? It’s really smooth.
Which lens and stabilizer did you use?
Thanks!
I didn't slow down. Weebill S + Lumix 12-35 and post-stabilization in Resolve.
hey the video is AMAZING ahah ! I was wondering if you could give the website link for the ir cut. I saw videos of people replacing the original ir cut of the camera and then put olpf and ir cut internaly (don't really understand the difference). thx
Érdekes viszontlátni a Kőbánya-kispestet a bmpcc lencséin át. Egyszer talán én is kipróbálom majd az enyémmel megörökíteni 😉
Superb footage !
How do you get everything in focus ? Small aperture like f5.6 or more ?
Thanks! Yes F5.6-F9.
so clean
Great footage. Grading is a little saturated for the ARRI look though.
So pissed my OG bmpcc has a cracked screen. The bmpcc4k is just not the same. Sadly I can't blindly enable the status overlay to my external monitor or I'd def still use the OG
What color space do you have your project settings at?
Convert From Blackmagic Film to Arri Log C- >apply the Arri Rec709 lut, then minor adjustments with color wheels.
Was the the bmpcc4k? Would love to see a tutorial on how you achieved this color grading
It's the old BMPCC.
Color grading is not a complicated thing in this case, but it is important that your monitor is calibrated.
Amazing! did you shot this at 30fps and interpreted to 24 or shot at 24
Thank you! Shot entirely at 25fps.
back when Blackmagic cameras didn't lackmagic
I've watched this vid about a hundred times, love it! How did you shoot the moving shots? Gimbal on a car?
By bicycle and a Zhiyun Weebill S gimbal.
Nice, I'm very impressed
Did you filmed this in cinemadng?
Prores HQ. When well exposed, the dynamic range is almost the same as in raw.
Great job . Did you shoot raw or prores?
Thanks! Prores HQ.
Szia Imre! (Utolsó, Népszigetes videóm) Köszi szépen a tippet!
Szia! Nagyon pöpec, milyen programmal csináltad a halationt?
@@imrebiro2760 Köszi, lekaptam a dehancer-t, két hétig ingyenes :).
Great work, What lens did you use.
Thanks. Lumix 12-35mm
Nice look.
Did you use focal reducer?
Thanks,it's a native MFT lens.
@@imrebiro2760 so 12-35 will be 24 to 70mm?
@@seungjaeyeo8034 35-101mm equivalent. Many people think ,that the pocket has 2x crop, but it has 2.88x, because the sensor size is only super 16.
Nice what lens?
Thank you! Lumix 12-35
How do you manage to film and ride a bike at the same time? Impressive...
Thanks! I wore a neck strap ,so I held the gimbal more stably with one hand.
@@imrebiro2760 You got skills!
nice nice :) which lLUT u used for this?
Thanks! With Resolve Color Space Transform, I convert from Blackmagic Film to Arri Log C and apply Arri Rec709 Lut at the end.
@@imrebiro2760 Hello, there is a Blackmagic Film to Arri Log C lut I'm on premiere pro I'm struggling, impossible to do this conversion would you have a lut? thank you
Nice shots indeed, how can no one comment on the fact they you were riding a bike with a gimbal?? :-)
Thanks! it was funny because I look like a fool, but the result was worth it. :)
@@imrebiro2760 that courage is the difference between getting the shot and not. I struggle with it often.
fine grading, but is very low contrast in my opinion, it's loosing too much details in gamma level.
kinda gimbal used?
Weebill S
