    Its nice to get a good laugh while simultaneously learn. Also, the you surprised me at the end with your voice when you played a short demo of the song - I didn't think anybody who has reached your level of madness would be able to sing, but you didn't just sing, you sang well! Well done.

      @@MikesMusicMethod If you're asking, there are two Gordon Lightfoot songs I would like to learn. For Lovin' Me and / or The Last Time I Saw Her. I saw him in concert a few years back and noticed every song he played was with a capo on the 2nd fret.

      @@Tomy_Yon I've have to double check on my Kansas but it's darn similiar to the point where not many would notice you faking it. ;) As you improve you'll start to realize how many patterns are either the same, or simply moved to a different string, or reverse order, etc...Only so much variability. Unless your John Hurt, or Doc or something. Good luck! Any song or topics I should cover next?

    Still coming back to these lessons, I really love learning the guitar this way. I'm trying to get this finger picking pattern to work with dreams by the cranberries, my gut tells me that there's a different beat to make that song work tho...

      yes, fingerpicking is a great joy! Glad these are helpful.
      Yeah, Dreams is a bit different. I just listened. It's not really fingerpicked. but that's the beauty of music. It's an art form. And you can reinterpret a song however the heaven you want!

      ha. good question. I'll have to pay some attention but there's at least a good handful of live tracks of Jerry doing Travis style. I'm not a deadhead so I'm not the guy to ask though.
