In this video i am exploring this beautiful 'abandoned' castle somewhere in France. Its build in the 19th century and it has a neoclassis building style.

Looks like the castle was turned into a hotel. There was numbers on the doors which would indicate the place being used for a commercial purpose.

Thank you! It was something like that. It also had exit signs all over the place. It probaly costed them to much to maintain and now it’s for sale.

Aside from the damaged dining room, it seems remarkably clean and ready for someone to stay overnight. And the water is on! The parc is still lovely, so it must have been very beautiful once. Thanks for the visit.
It's so sad to see these beautiful places sitting empty and neglected. If only I was rich???
It was once for sale but it will still cost a lot of money to get this and the surrounding domain in order i guess.

The castle was in good condition except for one room were the ceiling was removed.

I think apart from the 1st room you went in to ( where the wood panelling on the ceiling had collapsed) it looks like it's in good shape inside. The ceiling on the upper floor looked good which probably means the roof hasn't been compromised. Great video 👍

I have seen pictures were this ceiling was still intact. People came and vandalised it i guess.. very sad.

It looks like somone just cleaned the place, all the bathrooms looks shiny and fresh. And there is still running water. Could it be that someone still are looking after this place. Maybe a summer recidence ?

The chateau actually is in good condition, I would love to own a home like that if I am rich enough~ but I'm afraid human statues and too many faces carving on the walls creeps me out!!

It was in very good condition, except the first room you see in the video is demolished.
If it does not get a new owner it will get more destroyed or vandalized, even burglars will come after some time.. i do not share locations with random people and try to explore these property’s with respect.

Other than the ceiling in the dining room, this place looks move in ready! Why would anyone leave it empty so long?
That’s correct! I saw foto’s where this ceiling was still intact. Burglars or vandals destroyed it i guess.
I tried to visit but everything is closed and locked very well. It has an alarmsytem now and i heard that is sold to a new owner.
Locations can change day by day.
I guess i was very lucky that day, an window was open. It had a camera hanging but it was faced down. There was still power and running water. I knew this castle was for sale i dont know it’s already sold or not.

It doesn't look completely abandoned. The upper floors are clean and there is water from the taps. I hope they find a good use for the chateau.

Who did the cleaning - it was not truely abandoned because there were no cobwebs nor dirt on taglesurfaces

Lots of these great explores are not really abandoned just not looked after. There were definitely cobwebs and dust in several places. But that's hard to see on video. It had an commercial use and it was for sale or still is.. I did not destroy anything to get inside. The window was open. Still this hobby is not legal in anyway. Just respect the locations when your doing this.

Yes it was in pretty good condition for being ‘urbex’ it was or still is for sale. It was a former b&b i guess because there were also exit signs everywhere, it was something commercial.

Tens of thousands and years of work. That's assuming you don't find significant structural issues, let alone spiritual ones!😆😆😆

I personally like to see the kitchens in places like this castle. With it being historic, I love to see what they cooked on, how big the kitchen would be in a big place like that , it would probably have to serve a lot of people, including servants.

After the major cleaning, this Chateau is occupied again, and no longer an Urbex location!
It was ''abandoned'' for a short period. Now it's back in use.

I have no idea what happened. I think this used to be a hotel or chambres d’hotes.
It had exit sings all over the place so it was something commercial. It probaly costed a lot of money to maintain and it was for sale once for a lot of money.

What's the price of the chateau?
I can't tell the exact price because of maybe foretelling the location. But i can tell you its way over €1Mil.
@@didierdt5420 less than €1Mil. no body wants to buy castle it will cost. You another Mil. To fix it and 100k a year to keep it in top shape, there’s 1000 of castles for sale in France.

I also don’t think they will sell it very soon.
Though the property is really huge there are some ‘concierge’ buildings and lots of woods and a big pond.

It’s to clean to be abandoned. I think someone is living in there. They have running water. There is no dust or mold.

Most of these castles have a private owner. It definitely looked ' not taken care of' and walpaper was peeling off at some places maintenance was not done in a long time.
The castle is for sale or was for sale once i am not sure it has a new owner yet. But i understand your opinion this 'hobby' is not legal in any way, but we respect these locations and do not break in these.
I only enter if the location is already broken open or a window is open etc.

Le chateau est visité depuis longtemps par des 'urbexeurs' létat était assez bon, donc le chateau est à vendre. Je pense qu'ils ne vendront pas la domaine, le prix demandé sera trop élevé. Dommage qu'il se détériore de plus en plus.
