The Super Bowl 49 one kills me to this day
It utterly defies logic to not run Beast Mode in that situation. The whole world expected it, including the Pats, but he almost certainly still would have gained 1 yard. Even if he didn't, it still would have been a better call.

Next one of these you do should include the Christmas Eve game between the Vikings and the Bengals. I don't remember the year, but it was the last game of that season. It was in the early 90s I think. On a 4th and 10 just before halftime, the bengals called a QB draw. Boomer Esiason got nailed for another 6 yds loss, I think giving the Vikes the ball.

This is definitely a better list than the first video, except for the #1 on the first video -- that definitely belongs here. I understand why it's in there, but I'd take out the Patriots/Seahawks Super Bowl INT even though it's very recent and very memorable. While it was a bad call, that was just a normal good play.

It's not a bad play call to throw. Had Wilson thrown the ball where it belonged (knee level) it would likely NOT have been intercepted and may have been caught. Butler broke hard on the ball and made a great play. It was a bad play call only in that it was a bit predictable. A different route with a step in and then a jerk out ends up wide open with Butler overcommitted to the middle of the field. Obviously hindsight is 20/20.
Marshawn Lynch was 31st in the league that year in scoring from inside the 2 yard line. So the idea that they MUST run the ball on 2nd and goal is kinda laughable.
Actually I think it was the best play call ever
It was also the right call from a clock management standpoint. With only one timeout left if they run on that play and get stopped they're only going to get one more play in before the clock runs out. By passing they were giving themselves an extra play to score. If that pass had been incomplete instead of intercepted and then Lynch got stuffed on the ensuing two plays no one would have said a word about it afterward. It only became a big deal because it resulted in a turnover and no one calls plays based on the idea that you could turn the ball over on that play.
