      You are welcome, and yes just keep an eye on it. This are great rc machines💪, they do dig and here is a tip on the oil tank for the smoke, don't let it go dry because mine burned out for runing it without smoke oil. Thanks again for your comment and for watching my videos👍

    I myself started playing with real excavators. I would pull with the arm. Skilled operator told me the power is in curling the bucket.
    Only time you use the arm is if you are dicthing. Even the bucket teeth are slightly on on angle and you lightly scrape the surface until you get to your desired depth.
    When using my 1593, I applied what I was doing with the real one. Works ok, but not the same since the real machines are more powerful.

    Thank you so much for pointing this out I went and looked at it after I watched this video and my pins were about to come out I've had about 20 hours on mine digging in sand. Don't replace them with the same ram get a different piston like off AliExpress or something like that they got some really nice worm gear ones and they're all metal that's what I'm going to replace mine with

    • @miltonrcadventure
      @miltonrcadventure  Před rokem +1

      You are welcome 😃 James Skaarland , good thing you catch that on time👍 and yes i agree with your modification idea. Is a pain to loose those small pins, i never found mine, and to fix it, it takes some time. I already fix mine, it took me a long time to fine the originalnal part except for those pins. So i fix it, the cheapest way i can think off, i will make a video of how i fix it. Thanks for the tip, your comment and for watching my videos👍 i will also look into those options you have suggested😃 thanks.

      You are welcome Andy bug 😃 i was suprise when this happened and disappointed at the same time because they are expensive rc and they should be able to take a little more abuse on the job. My excavator is still down on my garage out off servive😣 no parts available if this part breaks. I have some ideas and hopefully it will work.thanks for your comment and for watching my videos😃

      Wow😳 i didn't know that. Huina should make it better, stronger and have replacement parts because i cant find a spare part. For the price, this should be way better. Thank you for your comment and for watching my videos👍

    • @radio2cm903
      @radio2cm903 Před 2 lety +2

      Later ones ? Is that not the V4 580 ? If its V4 it is the latest version. I have V4 the latest 580 and it’s the same actuators as yours. The super tuff soil probably exceeded its design loads. I think they are great for loss dirt only. You can get replacement actuators on eBay. Hunia 1580 upgrades or spares in search and you will see them. That’s great you have alerted people to that part breaking. I can see how that’s happened. Should be a simple fix with a replacement actuator.

    Hey, is there an option to remove this servo without full disasembly?

    • @miltonrcadventure
      @miltonrcadventure  Před rokem +1

      Hello @bla3912 , there is, but only if you are going to use different servos, the ones that a screw goes across them. On the originals you will have to cut on both sides till you cut the tip that is across the servo that are cover by the fake bolt, screw on the top of the escavator arm. Using a small, thin hand saw that can fit between the side of the servo and side of the excavator arm were the fake bolt, srew is, and carefully begin to cut. Then remove the servo and cut the wires carefully and drill a hole on the fake bolt, screw across the excavator arm the size of the new bolt that comes with the new servos. I hope this helps and if you need more help let me know, or if you will like me to make a small video for you to get a more visual idea of what i am talking about, please let me know too. Thank for reaching out to me and for watching my videos, happy 4th of july👍

  • @lorrainedimmock4096

    More than likely, it's a manufacturing fault, cause the casting to fail, when the pin is driven in place, making a hairline crack, braking when adverse pressure is put on the part....

    • @miltonrcadventure
      @miltonrcadventure  Před 2 lety +1

      Hello Iorraine dimmock😃 you have a good point👍 if i were to get another i would definitely check the pins on the cylenders just to make sure there is no damage. Since there are no exact replacement parts for this excavator i have mine right now just sitting down on my garage thinking how to fix it better. Thank you for your comment😃
