I love Queen Yuna the very best single ladies skater. Of course My favorite lovely Pair skater Aljona Savchenko and Bruno Massot, for her it's her dream to have a gold but for him to see this lovely lady having the gold, what an amazing partnership.

I really hope Eunsoo is able to get back to working with good coaches, stable access to a rink, and resolve her boot issues. She is such a full package skater and it would be a shame for her to miss Beijing. It's going to be stiff competition with 5 girls vying for only 2 spots now, and I desperately hope she is able to sort things out get one because she really is a gem with both her artistic and technical skills (and amazing musicality to boot).

I didn't see it in any of these compilations yet so I wanted to recommend that Joannie Rochette winning the bronze medal at the 2010 Olympics days after her mother passed away be included.

You can tell Bruno and Alijona's spouses really love them and that the four of them realize they are all a team in a strange sense. It is very great to see.

Who ever the person is in the maroon hugging alijona and Bruno is incredible. You could tell she was so proud and happy for them
The man with the glasses ,wo hugged Bruno,was their Dance Choreographer.Sadly he died some weeks after this Competition.He suffered of Heart Disease
That was Meagan Duhamel with her partner Eric Radford from Canada who won the bronze medal. She always had really strong supportive sportsmanship with other skaters.
Meagan seemed so thrilled and happy with seeing Aljona’s emotional overflow with finally winning the gold.

Why is no one talking about Eunsoo Lim? She is one of my favorite figure skaters
the way she's handling her tears is so painful
She looked physically in pain too, it must hurt to fall on the ice with the momentum that skaters build up.
Also some unawareness. Because of Covid, she couldn't continue with her coaches and didn't have access to a rink to practice. This made her have a VERY rocky and brief 2020-2021 season and she wasn't even selected to Korea's team for Worlds due to her placement in Korea's national competitions (which was a huge mistake in my opinion... I still think she is their top candidate for the Olympics and should have been given more experience on the world stage in preparation for it). Since Worlds was the only completion many people paid attention to this year and she was absent, it's put her out of sigh, out of mind of a lot of figure skating fans.

I would also have to add Mao's 2014 Olympic FS. She didn't give up after her low placement in the SP and gave the skate of her life under extreme pressure from her country.
It's in the third compilation.
I still remember the massive death threats from her country.
@@Digizzzzs And an actual former prime minister who at the time was heading the 2020 Olympic preparations in Japan criticized her, and though I don't think it made any international news, the type of language he used in describing her was impolite and disparaging. Instead of calling using her name and the proper suffix for someone who has mastered an art or skill, he basically referred to her as "that girl," which is incredibly disrespectful in Japanese.

@@user-xv9sl4og4f Что за ерунда, я помню она (Алина) за счёт каскада Лутз Риттбергер выиграла, хотя я был уверен что выиграет Медведева за счёт компонентов. А так всё заслужено, и купля продажа олимпийских медалей звучит глупо.
@@user-ml7sb5nz2g её каскад благополучно попал в техническую оценку. А как подросток без скольжения на полусогнутых ногах по компонентам превзошел 2х кр. ЧМ? Нормик аы считаете? Ну уж нет.
