This is insane. I'm a competitive runner who has run a few 1:17 half marathons. Tonight my work out was 4 miles 1 mile 1 mile. ran the 4 mile in 22:26 and both 1 mile intervals in 5:06 . the 5:06 mile was painful and I can't believe that that wasn't near as fast as kip choge ran for a whole marathon. Insane

Eliud’s average time per mile during his marathon run was 4mins 30s.
The men’s world record for 1 mile is 3 mins 44s.
The woman’s world record for 1 mile is 4 mins 12s.
A good time for a healthy person to run 1 mile is 7 minutes.
These people are truly amazing and a great testament to what heights humans can reach. Eluid is something else and I wouldn’t want to run on a track with him because it would be embarrassing to be overtaken multiple times 😰

You have so much valuable knowledge to share and great stories to tell, and you do that exceptionally well. I appreciate that you're creating so much content. 7180.4 (1h59m40.4s)
    Divided by
    42195 (marathon distance in metres)
    = 5.8764m/s

Gives you 136.137 seconds or about
