Wow who knew there was so much to learn about wood. Carving requires some good knowledge of wood behavior to get the results you want. I don’t know I’ll ever carve splatted wood but it’s fun to fill my knowledge base with this in case I do. Thanks Matt. It’s beautiful.

Matt, I have my new dremel shaft but due to financial constraints I could not afford the motor , now a advice from you I need can the shaft be fixed on to electric drill which is mounted and secure ? Thank you in advance Sir🙏

Thank you Linda. Even if you dont use spalted woods, some woods are just soft in areas so these tips could work there to. Have a great day.
