Masterpiece. Made it look easy.
Please note, none of the amazon links working for H7 or H11.. but I searched for H7/11 and I got it. Thanks
My projector cutoff is flat 3/4 ways across and on the far right it ramps up. It did this after i put LED low beams in. I aimed the headlights and it still doing it.
I did this to my fusion without taking the entire front end off. U just gotta move the reservoir over a little and there is enough room for your hand.
Adam Rosales both high and low beam? The low looked somewhat easy, but not the high.
Both my low beams died on the road, but the both high beams and fog lamps still worked fine. In a parking lot I banged on the left front bumper and that low beam came on. I did the same on the right front, but that low beam did not come on. Hmmm. Are these LED lights a direct replacement for the original and the same brightness or brighter? I want brighter. So this does not need a change of anything else like a ballast?
Adam Rosales oh thank god! I was just sitting here thinking I’m going to have to go and pay the dealership 200$ to do this.
@@hershegurl05 The front is easy to pull off. 3 push pins in the wheel wells, and 6 10mm screws on the front. Then pull the bumper down. No need to remove the whole thing. I did all lights in 45min.
good luck doing that on the 2012 fusion sport cuz that’s the one he’s doing in this vid and there’s no engine bay room for the 3.5L
do I have to repeat this process to swap out my assembly for the headlights or does the front bumper need removed?
I know that I need h11 and h7 bulbs for low and high beams but did you use lights rated at the same lumens for low beams and high beams?
Quick Question wat size is the wire to hold on the hi beam ??? I’m putting HID instead of Leds but the H11 bulb Hid is not as big as the led one that u put in!!
Are thes plug and play or does other wiring need to be done?
Thank You so much for this Video. !!!! I will be installing my headlight assembly myself. I can't find anyone to fix this. This Looks so easy. I be damn if I pay the shop or anyone to this. Can you post A video of the fog light replacement? I have water in mines, it looks like a fish bowl..... lol.
How did you put the rubber cover back over the LEDs after installed? I tried but the H11 bulbs are bigger than stock and stick out further so I’m not sure how to do so?
I ended leaving them off. I was able to get the low beam cover somewhat on (maybe it was the highbeam), but ended leaving them off for better cooling.
I’ve got my high beams left to install and been looking for videos on how to rig to use my LEDs and would like to see and know how you made these brackets so I can do the same. Please please please help me out here lol
The wire that I used was just some stuff that I had laying around. A large paper clip or something similar should work. It was pretty simple to bend it as shown at 8:27 and may not be needed depending on what brnd lights that you purchase.
How’d they hold up without the rubber cover on the back? It rains a lot where I live, and the ones I installed have fans that protrude out too far for me to put the cover back on
No issues at all with mine and I also live in a place that gets a lot of rain.
thinking of this. Overall, are these better for a lot of highway driving and country driving?
Yes, that is exactly the driving that I do and there are a lot of deer out this way to watch out for.
I don't know if you still check these but I'm looking for a replacement socket for the lowbeam. Mines was all melted from the factory lights and I don't want to pay Ford $200 just to look at it then replace.
That should be easy to find. I think Dorman manufactures those.
On my high beam bulb theres a little metal clip that came off i tried clipping it back on to the new LED but it kept popping off and i even tried setting it on where the bulb is placed and it still popped off any ideas ?
I made a new retainer clip out of some metal that I had laying around.
What's the link the LED headlight bulbs?

After your installs on the headlights does you fusion show a warning light inside saying check headlights?
No, I did not have that issue. Make sure your LED's are Canbus.
@@TwoKeysStudio okay thank you
I got leds from ebay that says the same thing... kinda annoying
So low beam and foglights are both H11?
Yes, they are both H11 bulbs. I have a link to the ones that I used in the description.
Is this the SHO Fusion? Yours looks different more aggressive front and that engine looks like the same High Output Cyclone V6 that's in my Uncles 2014 Mustang
It is a Fusion Sport with the 3.5l engine.
@@TwoKeysStudio looks nice yet for a first gen Fusion. Most of these this style 06 to 12 aren't so nice anymore. Sad they stopped making the Fusions now! The 2nd gen 2013-2020 were nice but personally I like the 1st gen better
Amazon sells an adapter kit for the high beams so you don't have to rig it up in there.
Link?
@@packerman1203 don't have a link for it. I typed in 'fusion led high beam adapter' . There are a couple on there so mind the details. One of them had the fusion in the info along with a Mazda.
@@maverick392cid hello, I have searched in Amazon with your wording and found nothing... Can you please show what you are referring to...
Any word on how these performed on-road? Other Fusion owners report LED bulbs SUCK
Michael Scofield I've had leds on my fusion for over 2 years. Goin on three now still as bright as the day I bought them. Beams are good they project well.
@@benjamincruz514 thank you
Mines suck I bought same for my van. Thought it would perform the same highly unsatisfied.
i did the low and fog beams with philips led bulbs, the change was amazing! before in some parts of the town witj shiXXy public lightning i had to activate the highbeams always, now there is no need, even in the highway at moderate speeds. at least philips bulbs was a game changer to me. also i bought a deeper dust cap just to no cover the fan and try help the bulbs to properly ventilate
Any one have problems after installing led bulbs ... coming across dash check left headlamp check right headlamp.... both are working but computers not recognizing the led bulbs ..?
I've heard others mentioning this with some brands. Make sure they are canbus compatible.
Did you put the dust covers back on if not did it Get Any water in the light
I ended up leaving them off and so far all is good.
@@TwoKeysStudio ok I was wondering I know thay sale led dust covers on ebay didn't know if you tried them or not
@@psychojoe69 i try them, they are stiffer so a bit dificult to insert, better safe than sorry
Cause i have a 2012 ford fusion and i want to do that
i have a 2012 ford fusion and i want to do this lmao...why did you even watch the video then
i am buying a 12 fusion sel this weekend. i am planning to intall led's in it, as we are all back roads with little street light out here. i have them in my chrysler pacifica high beams (lows are hid from the factory), and they made a world of difference. i'll get low and high for the fusion. the brand i use is gtr lighting from headlight revolution, if that helps anyone.
CZcams needs to have an option or take off the select another video at the end of the video, it's annoying
You didn't have to do that all you had to do was remove the air filter box and move the antifreeze bottle over and your hands will fit your welcome
I liked the access that removing the bumper gave me to the high beams. The low beams are fairly easy to get at with the bumper cover on.
It looks like a major project to remove the cover, but it doesn't take that long.
Thanks for the suggestion.
For how expensive the exterior cosmetics are (Grilles go for $250 USED if lucky) you’d think they’d use something other than those shittt plastic clips
I hate the high beams!,first time am like Wtf is this XD.Am glad all bolts are 10M,even the front fenders are 10M
This seems excessive just to replace the bulbs. I replaced my headlight bulbs easily without having to remove anything. I’m about to replace the fog lights. I thought I would refer to CZcams. I don’t know much, but I do know I don’t need to take my car apart……
I first attempted it without removing the bumper and saw access to the lights was not good. As I recall the low beams could plausibly be done without removal, but not so much for the high beams. The bumper assembly come off very easily and in the end makes it much easier to access rather than attempting without removing the bumper and light assemblies. Sometimes it actually ends up getting done quicker by removing the obstacles versus spending time trying to work around them. I fall into the trap of not wanting to remove things way too often and many times it takes me longer, or things get broken in the process. Good luck and thank you for watching my video!
F.ck ford they made it almost impossible to replace a head light 🤬🤬🤬. Thank you for the video sir..
No need to remove bumper .. low beam move reservoir.
Hight beam remove top bracket running from both ends of hood.. simple as that.. i just did this
What size engine do you have? I have the 3.5l v6 (Sport). I am curious if it makes a difference. Mine is much easier by removing the bumper.
@TwoKeysStudio I have the 3.5 l v6.. it's a 1 hand job replacing passenger low beam .. but when you remove the long bracket, you're then able to access the high beams .. but it definitely helps to have smaller hands that'd for sure
Thanks for the input. I'll give that a try whenever one of these goes out.
