Sepultura - Live @ La Maroquinerie, Paris (2019)

A special evening with legendary Brazilian band Sepultura at the Maroquinerie in Paris, November 26th, 2019. The band plays tracks from their upcoming album "Quadra" to celebrate the announcement of the 2020 release. The credit for the original upload goes to ARTE Concert (concert.arte.tv).
Founded in Belo Horizonte in 1984 - in a context of police repression and the end of the military dictatorship - Sepultura began very early combining elements of thrash, death, groove and a very noteworthy protest writing style of explosive metal. It’s the album "Roots" (1996) and its track “Roots Bloody Roots” (accompanied by a legendary clip) that crown Brazilians on the international metal scene.
More than thirty years later - and even when bass player Paulo Jr remains as the only original member - Sepultura has lost none of its aura. Need proof? "The Mediator Between Head and Hands Must Be the Heart" (2013) album has sold more than 20 million copies worldwide. Phenomenal.
