    Great tips! You're the only one I've found on the iternet who does such good videos in this genre. There's lots of metal but not a lot of death and black etc so love your channel for it \m/

      I will, thank you! The big channels don't go heavier than Death and thrash bands, but the thing is that it's after those genres that it gets hard to learn it by ear

    I want to use this over black metal progressions. The only thing is that its often chromatic. What to do then? :)

    How about solos which are NOT neo classical or blues?
    How make solos like...Morbid Angel on Formulas?

    • @SimonSmithGuitar
      @SimonSmithGuitar  Před 7 lety +1

      Good idea... I'd need a Floyd Rose for that sort of stuff..... don't have one. New guitar purchase maybe!! Any excuse.

    • @opiekundps8806
      @opiekundps8806 Před 7 lety

      Floyd Rose is only for ornamentation, expression etc :)
      but I'm interested in melody and harmony
      How to build solo that does not sound like BB King,Mozart or...country bluegrass :) even without F.Rose
