How to Delete iCloud from any iOS device: iPhone, iPad, iPod touch

- Learn how to remove your iCloud and Apple ID account from your iOS devices in 3 different ways: through your Apple Account Manager online, through your iOS settings, and more.
Since iCloud is linked to your Apple ID account, you’ll need to remove your Apple ID account from your device in order to delete iCloud.
To remove your Apple ID using Apple Account Manager online:
Open your preferred browser and go to appleid.apple.com. Sign in to your account. Scroll down to your list of devices. Click on a device to view details about it. Click Remove to sign out of your Apple ID account. To confirm, click Remove this iPhone. Repeat these steps to remove any other devices you no longer want to use iCloud on.
To delete iCloud from your iOS device through your device settings: Tap settings on your home screen. Tap your name. Scroll down to see a list of devices signed in to your Apple ID account. Tap a device’s name to see details. Tap Remove from Account. A small window will appear. To confirm, tap Remove. Repeat these steps to remove your Apple ID from your other devices.
To sign out of your Apple ID on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch:
Open your settings and tap your name. Scroll to the bottom and tap Sign Out. Enter your Apple ID password, then tap Turn Off. Some important data like contacts and calendars may be stored in iCloud instead of on your device. If you want to keep this data on your device rather than removing it along with your Apple ID account, tap the switch beside what you’d like to keep. When the switch turns from white to green, that information will be kept. When you’re ready, tap Sign Out at the top. Finally, tap Sign Out to confirm.
If you’re looking to permanently delete your Apple ID and iCloud account altogether, you’ll need to contact Apple support and ask them to erase the account for you. To get in touch with Apple support, go to getsupport.apple.com.

So I removed my iCloud on old phone but kept my calandra data on will the person have contact with my other things like gallery or contact still?

We'd suggest doing a full erase & reset of your phone if you're going to sell it to someone. Go to Settings, General, Reset, Erase all Content and Settings
@@techlifeunity I done that but iCloud is still connected when I want to restart the iPhone again it says connect with iCloud on my new phone

@@eggwhite1692 clearly they are talking about because they bought the phone from someone. Same thing just happened to me. Bought the phone, they didn't take their icloud off, now I can't use it! Freaking annoying!

@@eggwhite1692 It's all good, it isn't your fault. This really is a stupid feature on the phone. They could easily force the person to remove their icloud if they go to factory reset their phone

If you want to clear everything off of your device, go to Settings, General, Transfer or Reset iPhone, then Erase All Content and Settings.

Do you know how to delete iCloud from any iOS device? An account that's not mine, my boyfriend found an iphone we try to give it back to the owner but they already got a new one and that's what the carrier told me, I also called Apple and they told me I had to give it to the carrier, I did but that's what they said, so the lady removed the apple account from the previous owner and it workede perfectly, but now it's going back to the old account and I'm stuck with that account, please help me? I have contact it the lady and she says she can't anymore :(

You cannot remove an iCloud account if you don't know the password. That is done to prevent people from stealing devices and selling them.

Apple's security system is a total mess... their's system sucks always. I created an Apple ID just 8 years ago, now I totally forgot it and I restored and update my iPhone recently and then iTune ask me to enter the credentials. How do I do that? when I do not remember any of it! so I decided to remove my account from icloud and then it's still asking me to enter the ID and Password before removing it. What a fucking worthless security system they have made even I didn't rob this phone from someone else. What is the point if I can't remove my iCloud account that I didn't want it? First of all they have to find an algorithm to detect the right person without using any technology. Don't use Apple Products Anymore... Turn off the fucking worthless technology, turn on the LIFE...

You'll need to reset the phone to factory settings. Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings. Then you can set it up as if it were a new device.
