Are you altogether sure technology would have been able to arrive at the point we're at now without that being the case? Perhaps it's the misuse of information and developments like Television and the Internet have not had the intended results because Capitalists have zero problem sleeping at night making money appealing to the herd's base desires.

Well! I thought I might not enjoy this or learn as much as I do from the covid-19-focused TWiVs, but I was wrong! I love that a gut bacterium can confer protection from a virus! Wow! And the (presumed) mechanism is amazing! And the way it was discovered is even more amazing. Thanks again. TWiV is an awesome resource. I want to be a virologist when I grow up.... (Maybe next life.)

    "[T]he huge response to
infection is really the key to the
hemorrhagic fever." Hmmm. Sounds familiar. This kind of conversation is why SARS-CoV 2-focused people should listen to these old and new episodes that do not have that virus mentioned at all.

Yes: you can tell it was pre-covid-19 because they had trouble recalling the name 'remdesivir.' ☺️

TWIV: the peculiar virus outbreak in Fairfax county, VA reported in early July 2019 by ABC, NBC, CBS, etc. should be discussed here to relate or derelate to SARS-cov2. If related it'll help understand the current pandemic.

Doris Loh says cd 147 plays a part.
Melatonin and ascorbic acid, take early, take plenty, can treat viral illness
10mg to 100mg melatonin a day, divided dose
10 grams to 100 grams a day of.vitamin c, divided doses. Sodium Abscorbate works too, just not as bioavailable orally as ascorbic acid

What was that called? Oh...it's on the tip of my tongue. Gilead is making it. Oh I remember - remdesivir.
It's in the valley of death. Sometimes it takes a crisis to push it over the peak. I really shouldn't laugh but man....hindsight.
