It's good dude ... I make that tires every day . Im from Indonesia .. one of the employer this brand
Di bikin nya di mana ya mbak
Beli di mana yak? Ini si 700c bukan?
gypsies like u make those tyres for salary 10 $ per day :D
These are great tires. I still have to use slime in my because I live in the desert and we have stickers called goat heads that are everywhere. They get blown onto the street and will puncture just about anything.
I’m familiar with those goat heads although we don’t them much where I’m at but I could see needing the slime. I still love the tires.
I have a Trek FX2 and was thinking of buying a pair of these in the 700c x 40mm size, but now I'm wondering if you've ridden your 700c x 35mm pair off road, such as on gravel or dirt roads, and, if so, do you find 35mm to be wide enough for your needs?
Just ordered my plus tour tires 35mm, can't wait
Lenard Batac I bet you’ll love them!
I will be investing on these schwalbe tyres on pay day 👌🏻
Tommy Judge I think you’ll be happy
Are they the right sort of tyre for a carrera parva? I've just been reading reviews on these tyres and everyone says there the best
Tommy Judge I think they would be perfect for a carrera parva.
I run the same in 38c great tires many many miles on them
Love them
Thankful.
After 12 years the Kevlar tyre on my carerra subway 2, tore. I put on the Shwalbe marathon plus. It looks good and probably the right choice, since the roads in West London are bumpy and dented. You need that extra layered protection. Life's never a straight line.
It’s been a great tire for me!
Brad - I'm curious re speed & weight. These are much heavier than the Bonty H2's. Do you notice much difference when riding - particularly when climbing? Also, has it affected your overall mph?
I can't personally tell much difference. That being said, it should be said that most of my riding is rail trail on limestone hard pack and sometimes I'm carrying gear. But even on pavement, etc I've not seen much difference. I also love how durable the marathon plus has been. I've never had a single flat.
@@BradBeaird Thanks Brad!
These are fast even at a comfy 30psi
Do you think this Marathon Plus 700 x 32 will fit on the Trek 520? Enough clearance?
I actually am unsure as I don't have a Trek 520.
Awaiting to be available in India soon .
They are great tires!
Would be interested to find out what the ride characteristics are on these vs the Bontrager tires you replaced? I too was planning on switching tires to these Schwalbes.
I find them to have a bit more rolling resistance, and make a bit more noise. Though I do think the ride is a little softer. Overall I'm extremely pleased with them and would make the same choice again.
I just ordered a pair 700c x 45
for my e-bike
@captainbobadventures These are wire bread correct? do they go on easily? I've read that folding is better. Kevlar bead vs wire.
Sorry for the slow reply. They are wire bead so they won't fold. They do go on fairly easily. I've no experience with folding tires. I would expect folding would be good to take a tire along with you, but honestly I have no plan to pack along a tire with me. However, I would be interested in your experiences.
Did you use the stock tube? Just curious because I thought those inly went up to 700x32
I did just use the stock tubes and in fact, they are still in the bike to this day haha.
What's the racks ya have on the front fork there
Salsa Anything Cages
Currently I have a 44-622 tire on my rims. Is it possible to put on 40 or even 37-622 on my rim?
Whats the smallest tire they do
The original tires on my bike are 700x32c. You got 700x53. Why? What is the size of the inner tube that you are using?
I got 700x35s
@@BradBeaird thanks. Are 700x35c tires work as well as 700x32c? I am not an expert in this, I just need to get a replacement tire that would work on gravel but I am not sure about these sizes. My original tires are 700x32 and I do not know what size 35 rather than 32 affects. Would you explain?
It’s tire width. I went up to 35 to get a bit more tire on the trail for light gravel riding.
Just a basic question: I have a Giant Escape 700 x 38. Can I install 700 x 35? Will the rims work with narrower tires? I would also like to know, what happens if I buy the 700 x 40 version. Can I install them on my 38 rims. Thanks.
Usually you have some flexibility in width with most rims so it would probably work
Hey bob. I'm just looking at replacing my bontranger Tyers on my fx3 after 2200kms . Do the 700 35 fit ok on the bike , I originally have 700 32. Would you go for the same tyre again ? Thanks matty
Matty, the 35's are perfect. If I were replacing today, I would go with the exact same thing.
thanks for that , i went for the 700 x 35 . marathon green guard . managed to get them on special online at wiggle . less than half price . i actually found the marathon greenguard 35 to be narrower than the bontrager 32s . only thing i cant run as high a pressure on the new tyers . but 85psi should be ok . i note that the marathon green guard in the 32 can go up to 110psi . good for low roling resistance .
im happy with the new tyers , and less flats will be nice . fitting was not too hard on the trek rims .
Fantastic! Got a video of them yet? :D
Are the good off road
Probably light trail at best I'd say.
Hi Brad. Will a 700x38 fit on the FX3?
I think it’s possible depending on the type of tread but that would be pushing it.
@@BradBeaird I think 700x35c is the safe choice then
Agreed.
How wide of a tire do you think would fit on the FX3?
I think the 35's are about as wide as I would be comfortable with, but there may be others that have put larger on.
@@BradBeaird OK, thanks... I may take a chance and go a little wider than that. I like the bike but I'm regretting not going with something with a fatter tire.
I tried the marathon plus almotions and the sidewalls are too thin and Ive gotten flats.
That’s why I found the tour plus to be better.
@@BradBeaird yeah I was really hoping the tubeless would work out on it.
Anybody is using the 47-622? More confort ?
How is it at turning corners quick?
6mmMayhem great!
Much better than all this tubeless nonsense!
Film 🎞 in life и Торонто опoh. Otd👍👍👍👍
planning a 8000km bike trip carrying around 20kg. which pressure should I use on the marathon plus to increase its durability? (I have the 35mm)
Personally I run 60 PSI
Great. Thanks!
For city roads You will choose normal marathon plus tyres. If You want to go to forest, village etc. You choose marathon plus tour.
what size
700x35
Does is say there max pressure on them
85 psi max
@@BradBeaird thanks , have you tried higher pressure to get better rolling results
I usually run a max of about 60psi personally
@@BradBeaird I have a E bike and they are great on puncture resistance, but supposed to be rather poor on rolling resistance , so I was thinking to try them at 70 psi to start .
I personally don’t find the rolling resistance to be bad but I ride mostly on rail trail so perhaps if I was on different surfaces I might change my mind. Puncture resistance is so good I’m just happy to not have flats haha.

Love these tires!
How does it feel ? I never own it ? 😢
Good. Durable and has a nice ride. Not a single flat tire so far :)
There so many kind of tires . Almost hundred .
