I run a mage deck that has the 3 yogs, yes it does run open the gateway, no it is not the best deck but its really fun to play.
I run a triple Yog paladin. Two free librams a turn adds spells up fast

C'thun druid, and warrior to a lesser extent, were really good when whispers of the Old Gods released.
Yea they both saw a lot of play so I think he was good during old gods at least

i do wonder what pronouns an old god who's likely lived longer than all of humanity with no apparent gender would use.
In duels a mage hero had a treasure which just spun the Wheel of Yogg-Saron, with no spell cast requirements.

Old C'thun was always my favorite deck to make, because when i joined Hearthstone way back, i grabbed a Whispers pack, and got it for free, and once i actually looked at all the cards, my young brain was like "A card where you gotta work towards this big guy? SIGN ME UP!" Hell, Caverns of Time helped me finally get them all Golden, and i also got the Alt Art version from a Whispers pack. Just makes me happy to see them all shiny
My favorite card right now is ofc Sing A-long buddy. Its super fun to get double triggers on he hero power, esspecially in even decks. been jamming a lot of even hunter games recently, and have had a lot of fun
We need their third versions! Just like in MTG
My favorite use of N’Zoth was in a Mill Rogue deck I ran with Deathlords and Sludge Belchers. Your main wincon was Coldlight Oracle of course but you had the alternate wincon of Shadowstep/Gang Up on N’Zoth for infinite taunt walls.
5:10 there's a weird Amalgam Warrior build that can use it. Power Slider/Roaring Applause/Rock Master Voone's building up value into N'zoth and One Amalgam Band

The only time where I saw C'thun the Shattered played after completion was in spell mage decks back in the Dark Moon expansion, he was the finisher if the deck full o' greatly reduced in cost didn't already finish you off.

C’thun the shattered is one of my most played cards, I loved it in my tavish hero card stormwind quest line hunter

Darkmoon fair was fun, same with Barrens, only play Y sharrj and i like it

I fear, I was wrong. I've said numerous times that when making these videos it basically has to come down to my memory, since there isn't a good history for Hearthstone at all, the best you get are like vs reports which are horrific to read and actually try to understand past metas especially with how awful it is to go through multiple in a row. So basically if something is 8 years old x fucking d dude

I remember playing yog unleashed in big paladin in standard, so I never really cared about its cost, so the nerf was a buff to me.
I gotta say I just have a soft spot for N'zoth, love the long grindy games

Yoggs will always be my favourites cards. Insta golden crafts on release, no regrets so far.

Original Yogg had a 40% winrate when played, which is astonishing for A: That time in HS and B: A card that you would only play when you were losing
Yogg Unleashed was warping Standard with two decks: Control Warrior and Yogg Druid. The Druid deck was clearly better.

In caverns of time C'thun Jade Rogue was the best deck at some point.
Also N'zoth God of the Deep was played in Control Priest in Barrens which was the best deck at the time.
I am so sad cthun the shattered doesn't work with baku. Odd warrior is practically unplayable without a win condition, can't the devs just add a strong win condition at an odd cost, for odd warrior maybe something around gaining armor so that the hero power can be helpful for the win condition. I don't know. The chances of an odd warrior win condition being printed is just so low.
It’s crazy to me that Nzoth God of the Deep is this lategame bomb and has literally never found a deck to be good in
I like N’Zoth because he’s fun in battlegrounds (feesh) and also Deathrattles are cooler than battlecries (and I say this as a Shudderwock player)

New N'zoth was played in standard in paladin alongside yogg and y'sharaj in what was called ramp paladin, maybe the only time that 3 gods were played competitively in a single deck
