Thats called sound check. You have to play like you will during the performance otherwise things fall apart. Other than Antwuan, he should probably cool the jets a little. Of course, he knows his instrument better than I know it!

Cory has had some amazing bass players this past few years, but Vincen stands at the top of Mount Bassmore. Smooth, articulate, great fills - and he makes it all look so effortless!
Agree. No thumbs down to the other but I heard the band with Garcia - something extra happened on stage.
Vincen is exceptional. Really respect him as a human and artists. But there is no top of the mountain conversation quite yet. Cory has always had top shelf bassists in the chair. Kevin McIntire, Yohannes Tona, Sonny T, Victor Wooten, and many other amazing guests.
The bass chair like all of the chairs is always occupied by a stone cold killer.
I would love to see Vincen put with Cory again in the future!

Yes, Petar, 114 is way too fast! the pocket is too shallow :-) and overall it felt too rushed.
I never would demand such a shitty sound from a keyboardplayer. But it worked..
Cory has Antwaun going all-out for multiple takes... during sound check... and then wonders why his voice gives out after one show. 🙄With all due respect, y'all gotta figure out a better system.
It's not like Antoine is singing the whole show. He does a few songs. He oughta be able to handle Soundcheck and the performance.
