Love it how you always do the curb-less showers. I use a wheeled commode for showering and 99% of showers are inaccessible for me! Would love to see you do a barrier-free reno on your channel.
Thank you so much! I got a couple barrier free projects on the channel you can check out
Fantastic! I'll check them out. Thanks!
@@WorkinwithWolkonHi, very nice job! Could please advise where the shower glass walls need to be located in relation to the edge of the shower Schluter tray? Thank you in advance.
Another project done to perfection. Not only are you getting better, you're also doing things faster and more efficiently now without compromising the quality. Great job!!! :)
Thanks so much Jason!
What’s ur phone number needs few washrooms done
These are so relaxing.
Glad you like them thank you!
As always, I love your work. Thanks again
Yay!!
Another video!
Lovely as always. Can’t wait to watch it again later today.
Thank you so much I appreciate you!
Another great job, never gets old watching your remodels!
Thank you so much!
Looks great Liam and Sebastian. I am sure the homeowners are well pleased. It's great to see the job done to perfection.
Thank you very much!
Fantastic job! I love how you went a little more into the small details!
Thank you very much!
Another beautiful remodel❤ I know the homeowners were very happy😊
Thanks so much!
Love your content! Inspired me to learn more about renovations
Thanks glad I could help!
Great Job. I love seeing this type of work from you and your crew.
Thank you!
@@WorkinwithWolkon your welcome
As usual, incredible job.
Thank you!
glad to see a new vid!
Thank you!
I can only highly recommend using knee protection with air cushions or thick padding!
Bro I really love your work. I’m learning so much’ I might have to fly you to US when I start to remodel my home.
Would love a video about your design process. Maybe your initial consult and measurements. Then how you draw up your plans and present them to the clients. Their feedback and what you change. (if anything) Then picking out of tub/toilets/shower, tile, hardware and colors. Then do the remodel and see how close it comes to the initial design. You can do it without involving the owners by just talking about their choices, unless they would like to be part of the video.
yes please
Thank you for the suggestion! This is something I will do for sure
Looks great! Im in Guelph and used Bola glass for my shower, they were excellent. Thanks for linking them!
Glad to hear it! They do great work
Very Very nice!
Excellent job i loved ❤ it
Thank you so much!
Wonderful job
Thank you!
Big fan of your work. Let me know when you expand to London, ON!
Great new video!!
Thank you!
Very happy to have seen this video. I have a shower and bathroom being done now and my tile choices are almost exactly matching this including that shampoo area and I picked the materials even before seeing this particular video. But I have been watching alot of the other ones and using those and screenshots for ideas.
what's the name on tile?
@@dariuszd7762 not quite the same but similar. Not saying its a good choice or anything. Seemed like a Lowes' special at the time. I put the large tile format on the walls. its called Satori Regent Statuario 24-in x 24-in Polished Porcelain Marble Look Floor and Wall Tile. On the floor I did the same style but the rectangular ones. And the shower floor is EpicClean Milton Arabescato Marble 12 in. x 12 in. Glazed Ceramic Mosaic Tile but that was from Home Depot. Maybe check my page in a few hours I might upload a 15 second clip but again only because you asked, not saying its legit good. I like it tho.
@@dariuszd7762 See my page for a short clip. I replied before but didn't show.
I cant believe how far youve come since your first video.
Great Job. 👍
Thanks! 👍
Another awesome bathroom renovation. I'm still waiting for the How To for installing the glass enclosure. :)
Very nice!
Thanks!
Dis sooooo good
Oh thank you
Such great craftsmanship as always guys!! I really like the floor. Pretty much full tiles all around. It all came out great but, with that being said I really didn't see anything wrong with the original bathroom LOL!!! Hoping all is well guys, Dirty Jersey out!!
Thank you as always Mike! The floor of the old bathroom was like a trampoline lol
Cool video
Thank you!
Very nice
Thanks!
135 dollars an hour not bad. excellent work guys
Another awesome job Liam and Sebastian!! I love the simplicity of the remodel design.
Thanks Kelly!
Holy moly, whoever did that soldering at 0.55 under that sink, needs a spank 🤣
this was cool. Literally same bathroom same layout just upgraded
Yup no major relocations on this one!
Hey, you're working from home too, it's just someone else's home! ;)
Nice work! Heres a tip, when ever you Drill a hole in the end, fill it with silicone before you screw
Thanks we do!
Ya
You guys are good!
Im curious, when removing drywall to open things up, what do you guys do in the case where you remove ceiling drywall (in the shower for instance) and the ceiling is textured? It would be extremely difficult to match the texture I would think. Thanks!
although i don't and probably won't ever do this sort of thing, i love watching your videos man. you really should make some sort of course for people to learn from you if you want an extra income :) who knows maybe i would be it
Thank you! I am planning on something like this eventually but I can’t see charging for it
I do have a 2 hour video coming out soon which will go much more into detail on how to renovate a bathroom
How do you go about installing the glass for the shower space? is it just anchoring the attachments and sliding the glass in. any other silicon steps?
Thanks GREAT content. Entertaining and informative.
I love your work! As always it's flawless! I know the customer wants what they want, But.........Do you ever get a little tired of the Carrera tile? Can't wait to see you guys do a remodel totally out of the box.
Thank you and yes absolutely
We have a Reno on the channel which featured terrazzo tile, wall paper and shiplap which was very different from the usual
Have you tried Liquilock by Oatey for removing the toilet during demo? It saves me time and the hassle of removing and replacing the filter on the shop vac.
free standing tubs are so nice in theory... but they are a hassle when it comes to floor cleaning
Again, another great video! Keep them coming.
One question I have. This is a similar set up that I would like to do myself at my house. Would you be able to tell me the dimensions of the room? I particularly like the layout that you have done here. Thanks again.
Thank you so much! I don’t have the exact dimensions but each tile is 2’x2’ so you should be able to get a pretty close estimate by that
How do you choose pot light placement and spacing? Also how many lights are too many/little?
Liam, do you subcontract the glass installation? How often do you need to custom order glass assemblies? Do you stick to 'standard' dimensions to save on cost?
Every single job we do has custom glass that is subcontracted out
We never use pre fab kits even for standard sized showers as the quality can’t compare
That festool setup will save you guys hours every job. Probably pay for itself within a month.
It’s an amazing tool for sure
Hi, I love your work and would hire you in a second. I have a very large and ugly ensuite with a dance floor in the middle. Do you have any recommendations for contractors in the Kitchener area?
Thank you very much! I’m sorry but I’m afraid not
You didn't show how to do the glass shower 😢, great job
What is the spray product you use on the drywall paper? Your Amazon link shows Gardz but that's in a can?
We’ve actually switched away from the can moving forward. Found it doesn’t reliably seal the paper. We’re still experimenting to see which product works best for us but I’m thinking a shellac based sealer
Terrifc work again boys!
Hey Darryl! Thanks so much, hope all is well with you guys!
Hey Liam, Im also in the GTA area. Im wondering if/what paperwork is needed for a reno like this one. Would a seperate house be different from a townhome?
Hey , can the shampoo tile box be installed after tiles are installed on the bathtub wall?
thanks in advance!
I believe there are retrofit niches on the market but they would be something prefabricated
Question. If you have an island bathtub, why do you not waterproof around the area? I wouldve thought that if you get out of the bath, you would want the floor waterproofed as you would get it wet otherwise no? Just curious. I have no experiance with this type of thing so would love to know reasons for why you dont do this. Thanks in advance :)
Yes it’s a bathroom, various areas will get some amount of water on the floor as you get out of the tub/shower. But this will be a very minor amount of water, not enough to cause any damage. You gotta remember that porcelain tile is an excellent water barrier, the general floor area will never see water making its way past the tile
My master bedroom is big, my bathroom and walk in closet is tiny. Do you ever expand bathrooms and closets?
Yes I’ve done that twice on this channel
Not sure what flexi piping brand that is. But there's been huge issues with the coloured flexi's and pin hole leaks. Something to do with the ingredients in the colours and the flexi pipe degrading. Just fyi.
What tile is that pls?
Carrara
why use dirta heat if you didnt put in floor heating?
That's not ditra heat, it's the standard decoupling membrane you use as part of a schluter system. Ditra heat is compatible with that membrane.
Two reasons
1. Ditra heat is 1/4 vs the 1/8 of regular Ditra and we needed the extra thickness to build up the floor
2. The peel and stick installation method is only available for Ditra heat at the moment
Is it possible to see the customers reactions to their beautiful new bathrooms? Obviously ask them and not just shove a camera in their faces.
It just wouldn’t be genuine
You gotta keep in mind that they live here throughout the Reno and see it everyday. There’s no sudden drastic change where they’re going to be blown away
I suppose we could ask clients if they’d be comfortable doing a reveal but it wouldn’t be like on tv with the jaw dropping moment is all
@@WorkinwithWolkon I completely forgot about the fact that they see it everyday. I mean I guess you could just tell them no peeking until it’s done 😂. Nah it was just a thought, definitely not necessary, the quality of the videos are perfectly fine without it.
I thought you’re not supposed to put anything tile related over 1/4 plywood including underlayments
have you ever come across a home with only 1 bathroom that wanted a multi day bathroom renovation? the client has no place to use that bathroom in that case.
No they would need to figure out something themselves to accommodate the Reno
I love your work and all your projects. But man everyone has the same taste.
For sure, I have nightmares of Carrara tile
So after all that, the homeowners didn't want a bigger bathroom door? Man, that thing looks so tiny 🙈
They don’t make doors like that these days haha
Second
Why dont people like jacuzzi anymore? And why is everyone replacing bathtubs into shower stands??
Jacuzzi are bad idea its like a pool but for tiny humans
The majority of people don’t take many baths so it’s not a priority
First
I’m just gonna keep saying it even though you’ve explained why multiple times. You should be charging more for your labor.
Appreciate it!
