Mr Glover is one of the most eloquent and intelligent actors today.
One of my favorite actors of all time.... so talented
I'm 3 years late to this but .. me too, lol.
21:27 It’s cool to hear him talking about Friday the 13th IV. There aren’t too many interviews where he’s asked about that film, so it was nice to hear him talk about it. The entire interview is excellent, but I’m happy he was asked about the film and talked about it.
If It helps Crispin, you were just as important as Michael and Christopher, in that first movie! To be a part of our childhood, our teen years. We grew up with you! Be damn proud of that movie! But can definitely understand where he's coming from here. Huge, huge fan of River's Edge! Could quote a lot of Layne's lines haha I wonder if he likes those quotes? Such a unique actor!!
100%. George McFly was integral to the movie and Crispin was brilliant as him.
who else here thinks that Crispin is attractive? because i really hope i'm not the only one who thinks he is. i also find him quite adoorable too and his voice is so comforting to me.
He does have a great ASMR voice
Crispin feels like hes the nicest guy ever, i recently watched Willard with him. Holy crap, hes such a good actor!
I love Sócrates to.👍
For once, during an interview, he is allowed to speak, to express himself in order to answer questions frankly.
Usually, these are questions, over and above questions and without having the time to really answer them.
He seems a little nervous, but he’s so natural...
And most of all, for once we’re not just asking him about the damn movie 'Back to the Future.''
He has made so many other excellent films, that it would be nice to leave him in peace with this...he has already answered on the subject...he can still not invent new things for those who are obsessed.
I thank Kevin Polowy for allowing him to take his time and answer every question properly.
This is the kind of interview I love.
Thank you
He did a good Marc Maron podcast
Crispin.....You could portray a very intriguing JOKER!!!
Omg he would be BRILLIANT!!
@@Pari28 he would!! The killing joke would be perfect for him
Do you understand yet..?
watch the movie Willard, the character he plays in that movie is basically what his Joker would look like.
Why would he play such a boring overdone roll?
Crispin Glover is awesome - HILARIOUS in Back to the Future. Very strange man - and very talented.
@Captain Brandon Horror Film Lover Agree 100%
He looks just like his dad who played a Bond villain in “Diamonds Are Forever”.
He’s better looking than his dad.
Crispin Glover is my spirit animal
you just one uped me lol
Lmaooooo
Brilliant actor. Crispin is very misunderstood as a person and character actor. They are DUMB not asking him to be the next Joker. He is an incredible method actor and would totally have killed it after Heath. Studios truly miss out on OBVIOUS monetary $$$$ box office success by playing too much politics
That’s how BAD productions are now days.. always looking for new stuff. Glover is too much for Hollywood though, in my humblest opinion.
He is too serious and might be difficult to work with
Oh Friday the 13th lol I think 4 was the best one. Crispin Glover's character was one I wouldn't forget. Nerdy kid who got laid and then right after got the meat cleaver knife through the face. Memories!
Poor guy was just looking for the corkscrew
Watching that scene right now LOL
Ended up being a dead f**k after all.
Muerte post-coital... luckyday XD
We are all glad Crispin stood up for himself and protected his likeness being used without his consent. As a little kid I always asked why George was different in the sequel ! I did not even realize as an 8 year old Crispin was not in the film at all
I love Back to the Future.
29:05 - Crispin starts talking about Back to the Future, which is probably why you came to this video.
King
Came for Friday the 13th
@@dre66roc No one cares.
@@Head-or-Dead I wouldn’t give a damn if you cared or not! Doesn’t change the fact that I 👏 came 👏 for 👏👏 Friday the 13th 👏👏👏. And ain’t a damn thing you can do about it!
Crispin is a genius actor.
I had no idea Bruce Glover was his father. One of the more memorable assassins in a James Bond film. They do look a lot alike
He made the first movie a hit as much as anyone else did.
His intelligence gives him the aura of eccentric but the man’s got incredible talent/skill as an actor….So much so that Hollywood does not possess the integrity to utilize this man properly. I’ve been a fan of Crispin since the early 1980’s. Also he is the son of Bruce Glover legendary Thespian/teacher and Mother Betty Glover Classically trained dancer and both still going at 90 & 94 years old.
He was so good in. Back to the future
It never would've been the same with another actor.
Crispin is definitely unique I'd like to see more of him
I love this strange (like Goldblum & Walken at once) and brilliant man in _just. about. everything._ Underrated super-talent; as good as he is, you can tell there's something even better waiting to be performed from him. His agent or w/e must feel like a real maven.
Crispin is a true artist
A incredibly talented actor
Great interview with a terrific actor
He is an “NC-17” actor, ala Faye Dunaway. “Willard” is his magnum opus, and love whatever he does. He captures the imagination, or lack thereof, perfectly. Sorry he had to endure that famous lawsuit, but it did benefit artists - he won (his imagery was illegally used in the film Back to the Future). He is for a film industry, not a marketing system. What a mensch. I feel I could speak to him in large and abstract terms, and he’d know exactly where I am coming from.
He isn't a Jew, though - shockingly, maybe. Perhaps not a mensch at all.
Crispin was great in Friday the 13 the final chapter ,
To me he is an enigma actor. Ive only seen his major roles but ,never really seen him stretch from the quiet, weirdo or oddball. But he for those PERFECTLY.
Wonderful actor 👏👏👏👏
Huge fan of Crispin Glover…your right son, your right
I think Crispin crafted his persona around Bill Evans. Love both of them
Glad to see him doing so well and being happy
Loooooove him
There's one brave dude. 🤗🤗🤗
I didn't know all that happened with Crispin and Back to the Future 2. Wow.
A very underrated actor!!!
God, I would love to have a conversation with this man.
Poor boy. In 2020. Can’t wait to see it.
OMG! - I did not know his dad was Bruce Glover in “Diamonds are Forever” as one of the protagonist - My mind is officially BLOW!!!! 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
Hes a true Vampire He has been making movies since the Early 80's abd has hardly aged abd dont look like he gets surgery
Except BTTF and Friday 13th and also Charlie's Angels,in which I didnt know he played in,I never seen other of his Movies yet.
Great Actor
He mentioned his father in Chinatown. He played a PI in that. I'd like to see Crispin portray a police detective or PI for some reason.
Well played Crispin Glover be an excellent Joker
21:33 - Friday the 13th
It sucks that I’m seeing this four years later. As this is one of the best, most relaxed and laid-back interviews, I’ve seen him give. I really appreciate that. I hate what they did to him and he is right… The fact that Bob Gale cannot admit his wrongdoing, shows a level of ridiculous childishness in his character. I mean, how can you even defend it? On top of that, Crispin was a major part of that first film. He should have gotten significantly more money for doing the second, not Michael J. Fox money… but at least half, if not, 3/4. as much money as that first movie made the studio, they should’ve been bending over backwards for everybody on that cast who was returning. Not to mention, they were making the second and third back to back.
Just a ridiculous situation. I’m glad Crispin has moved on and is finding success in what he does. He’s a very talented actor and deserves more credit than he gets.
You can clearly notice the interviewer had NO IDEA Crispin´s father is the great character acrr Bruce Glover.
Soooo much for homework...
Most people knew he wasn't in back to the future part two they can see that that by the credits it was naughty of them to use his face for the second film but no one should had believed it was Crispin making that performance .
👍🏆😄🎁🤲🎥. Great quote- “Blood is difficult to work with”
I always wondered how Crispin would have played the drug dealer in Pulp Fiction instead of Eric Stoltz
Stoltz killed it in Pulp Fiction, but Crispin having a panic attack as Mia Wallace is being dragged into his house would have been priceless
He's a real good actor too btw. Just wonder why he isn't way more famous. Probably doesn't want to be I guess.
Too talented for art house films, too art house for mainstream films.
Omg I forgot he was in Like Mike holy crap!!!!
seems like a nice guy.
Totally brilliant film - Great acting Mr Glover
Dude is always dressed immaculate
I recall him saying that's about giving the interviewer or whoever respect.
can pllleeeease someone finally ask him about River's Edge dammit!!!
I've wondered for a while if he tells them in Pre interviews that that movie and discussions regarding it are off-limits. So strange that we never get to see him talk about one of the greatest movies in his repertoire.
i want mister glover to be the next bond
They should make another back to the future movie with him going in the time machine to fix the past and make the movie end right.
Great interview
Crispan Glover turned out to be a good looking man. It runs in his family, his actor father Danny Glover was a handsome man also.
Yeah, Crispin takes those Michael Jackson films.
I thought Crispin might have even been related to John Glover also, but I don't see the resemblence.
This man can't play Joker. He is JOKER!!!
With the beard, he looks like and sounds like Jim Henson.
Psychopath does not mean "crazy" or "unhinged". That's psychotic.
Great hair :)
What a shame that he wasn't in the BTTF sequels. Maybe they wouldn't have wrote him dead in the alternate 1985 in BTTFII
“2 Mcflys with the same gun” was a good line
He would have played a bigger part had he been in the first sequel.
He was interesting as Andy Warhal in The Doors.
dont forget Bob Gale made "Mr. Payback "
dove!!!! the guy hasn't changed at all!!! always with the same face
Crispin should be in the next The Batman as the Joker 👍👍👍👍
Glover should have just taken the deal he was offered in part 2 and 3. The sour grapes mostly stem from the fact that Glover regrets his decision and wants to blame the producers for trying to cope with losing the main character set to be in a sequel.
I miss my wife
willard is a great film.
Is that Daniel Tosh?
Neil Gaiman Norse Mythology I highly recommend
Yeah kind of a cross between Harrison Ford and David Duchovny
Nicolas Cage was brilliant in long legs but Crispin would be an interesting choice too
Great performance in BTTF 2 ! Good job
He say imself. It was not him, it was another actor with prostetic mask and make-up.
Ahhh, Crispin Glover wasn't in Back to the Future 2.
I knew it wasn't him as George Mcfly because his name wasn't in the credits. At least, they didn't put his name. Besides that, it wasn't that much screen time that he portrayed George Mcfly in part 2.
I really loved Crispin Glover in BackToTheFuture Part 2 & 3.
"Out on the golfcourse.. ahh".
I didn't think he was great in the first BTTF but 2 & 3 👌
😂😂😂
Is it just me or « Hum hum …. Hum hum… hum hum… »
Hmmmm
His voice sounds like a teenager's and a 40-year old investment banker's all at the same time.
Dude needs to Take a chill pill. Big time
4 & 3/4 years old?! He IS quirky!
Glover doesn't even know Robert Zemeckis' name. " Roger " ??? Pfft.
The interview dude looks like was pulled from 2005 to do the interview
Worst interviewer intro .
There's something very unnatural and unsettling about this dude's face
This guy looks like a younger nerdier version of Viggo Mortensen.
true. I was wondering if this was AI generated lol
