I used to have this my mom recorded it and my dad and I used to pretend that we were Aladdin and Jasmine we imatated the skating movements when he was alive. Watching this brings memories to me when my dad and I did it together. Rest In peace daddy I love u and miss u so much I wish u were here with me so we could do this again together. I hope to see you again one day!

Ruby Marlowe I have the book My Sergei A Love Story. Written by his wife Ekaterina Gordeeva and E.M. Swift. I've read it twice now and I still love the story. I can't believe how healthy he was then all of a sudden he dies right in front of her eyes. I will never part with this book for as long as I live. I love it so much. I've never had a book that I've loved so much until I discovered this one last summer. R.I.P. Sergei Grinkov 1967-1995😥😇❤️

Ruby Marlowe I didn't know there was a paper back version of the book. I have the hard cover version of it. I've just now completed my recovery from hip surgery from last summer and I promised myself after I'm healed I'll talk my mom into letting me take skating lessons. I know I'm asking her a little late but ever since I was about six years old, I've always wanted to take skating lessons. But my mom always said no because I had terrible balance and coordination. And then I asked her again about a year after my father passed away, I asked her again I was like I don't know thirteen years old and again she said no with the same answer as the last time I asked her. Now that I'm an adult, and my hips are officially healed, I'll try to convince her one more time if I could take lessons. This video sucked me into the skating world. Kristi Yamaguchi and Kurt Browning were the first ever skaters that I've ever been introduced to because of this video. And now I've considered them my favorite skaters of all time. I hoped you enjoyed My Sergei just as much as I did. Thank you for responding. Where did you find Katia's note that she wrote to Daria? Is it actually a book that you could buy at a bookstore, because if it is that's the next book that I want to read. Thank you for that information.
