The little one running around just made me cry. You can tell that they're excited and happy. Thank you for rescuing them!
Me too!
same it made me cry and laugh so hard!!
Can’t stop crying on that too, the babies are so happy
Especially that beige one! It looked like it was “bucking” like a horse does when it’s running and excited. I guess I’ve never seen a Guinea Pig so happy it would do that.
Uhhhsooooo sweet ure amaxing rescuing them all well done u xxxx and hugs xxh
The little male baby who just started RUNNING around his enclosure when you put him in has my whole heart
Same
Same!
That was so cute!
Yeah and he got to do that for only two days
@@Jessicake22what do u mean?
No one should have to pay to rescue someones guinea pigs from a bad situation. Honestly horrible to see so many piggies in 1 tiny cage. This is the first video of yours that I’ve watched and it’s made me both mad at the horrible situation and very grateful that you saved them. Thank you
This is the horrible System......if he would not buy them another one would do. So better to them for landing at this nice guy!
honestly, that's how it workes. When my doggo was a puppy and we went to look at him to this "breeder's" house, he was literally covered in poo, skinny to the bone, smelly, afraid. The woman didn't even want to show us this puppy. So we payed big bucks for him and took him home right from that first visit (knowing we didn't have the resources to take more of the puppies) and contacted the authorities. Lady went to jail. But the thing is many people will tell you not to pay for these animals because you're supporting the abuser, but in reality, you have no other way of getting the animals the care they need and often if you were waiting for the police or animals rights groups to make change, the animals might not survive that period.
So in my opinion, if you want to help the animals, you do have to temporarily support the abuser unfortunately. If you have any proof there's animal abuse going on, contact the authorities but sometims what's more important is to keep good relationship with the abuser. Here in Czechia police take animal abuse seriously basically only with dogs, sometimes cats and horses, but if you called the police on someone not properly taking care of guinney pigs, the police would do nothing, the animals would stay with the negletful owner AND the owner would block you everywhere so you would never see the animals again. I assume US is simmilar.
so yeah... sometimes all you can do is buy the animals and hope that if the original owner does it again, they will again sell the animals to you. They make money by hurting animals and there's very little anyone can do.
could say you will call the cops and get the puppies and leave but still call the cops?@@luxurypetscz
Same, first video I’ve watched and this one is so sad
@@luxurypetsczAs someone who runs a non profit rescue I want to stress that giving money to a backyard breeder/puppy mill is actually one of the worst things you can do. What you are doing is funding them to keep going. I know it’s easy to think about the one dog you feel like you are helping but by paying for one you are funding the abuse of 50 more. The only way these people will stop is if they stop making money. Please go through a legitimate rescue or animal services in the future if you really want to help!
I know virtually nothing about guinea pigs, but this showed up in my recommendations and I'm just enjoying the heck out of learning all of this!! So happy for all of those gorgeous piggies to have someone like you looking out for them ❤
Perhaps it may even inspire you to welcome some piggies of your own? Many adults overlook piggies as a potential pet and see them more as a child's pet, but they are so incredibly rewarding and a great addition to any home, whether there are children or not.
Sameeee
same! I keep mostly snakes so idk why youtube thought I would be interested in a stranger saving neglected gunnea pigs but youtube was right.
Same!! I didn't even know they had little personalities or that they made happy little noises. I guess I never really thought too much about them, really. At first, when I heard the noises I was thinking you had birds as well or they only made noises when frightened, like a wild rabbit. Glad I actually watched your video!!
One question though ..why didn't you put them in a bath instead of trying to clean them with Qtips? Are you not supposed to bathe them? Do they stand the chance of having a heart attack, like 🐇 from being scared??
13 pigs in one cage is crazy! Like, it's one thing to just not be aware of the proper care guinea pigs need, but at some point I feel like even someone who knows nothing about animals would still look at this situation and go "hmm this seems a little cramped". I'm so glad you rescued them!
Selfish people like that woman make me so angry, I can barely watch this video. I don't understand why anyone gets animals like this as you can clearly see how those animals are suffering. I'm so mad right now. The wirst is that these people never seem to understand and just keep on collecting and then when they finally have enough dumping their problem on other people to take care of it.
... this is nothing compared to animal abuse everywhere. Sone don't think normal and don't care too
@@Angelface11Just cause worse stuff happens doesn’t mean this isn’t bad.
Sad world
@@oliveman9065 They didn't say it wasn't bad.
@@stevnated Yes, they very much did. They said "This is nothing compared to-". That's the same as saying "well other people have it worse, so get over it".
As an introvert I just wanna live in a house with a bunch of guinea pigs and work from home
LOL I AGREE❤
As long as you don't make the same mistake as that woman and then dump your problem on other people (but I'm pretty sure no one watching these videos would though).
Same!❤
Agreed
Agreed!!!
There used to be this pet store when I was a kid that had a giant pen with a whole bunch of guinea pigs just loose together. Male and female. That pen had pregnant guineas, newborns, young ones.. all the stages of life. It was crazy.
as a rabbit person, not knowing much about piggies, i could tell just by looking at them they were not being properly taken care of. thank you for giving these piggies a proper home and care. seeing one of the boys run around was great. i don’t know if pigs run around when they’re happy like bunnies but it seemed like he was ecstatic.
They so do and they hop around in a behavior known as popcorning it's just so fun to watch when they are truly happy and living their best life.
@@Katylou1230i love that. for bunnies its called binkies. little boy was very happy.
They are from the same family of rodents :)
@@felicityg9323 rabbits are lagomorphs, not rodents
But he didnt give them a proper home though. For two days only
The baby doing the zoomies made me smile. They are so lucky you found them. They will be well provided for now
its the fact that you could tell they immediately trusted you, especially the malnourished baby. thank you for everything you do.🥺
I know this comment is late, maybe for the next rescue. You should get a little digital scale at walmart in the kitchen section. I would weigh all new rescues for the first week or 2. But it would be especially helpful for your critical cases to weigh each day to make sure they are moving in the right direction and not falling behind. Loved your rescue mission.
The poor girl was so hungry she tried to eat the wet wipe. She seemed in higher spirits after her spa treatment. I'm so glad it's nothing serious and she's going to recover with TLC. ❤
First off, I just want to say as someone who had baby piggies from the same kind of situation, where I didn’t know that I had a boy and a girl I thought I just had boys and then ended up having the babies. You did an amazing job taking care of them and I’m so glad that you were able to make a better life for them
Luckily, I only ended up with three more guinea pigs so on top of the two that I already had I couldn’t imagine having more than the five that I already have
I got my male fixed but I didn't know you had to keep them separated for two weeks after the neuter and one day I looked in the cage and there were these two little furballs. My dad was really mad because he thought I did it on purpose. 😂
@@bubblephobiaoftheshire It's actually best to wait 4-6 weeks after a neuter
I took in the gerbil equivalent of this situation and it is so hard to see but so rewarding to see them happy. I'm so glad that you found them and brought them to a better home. They're so cute 🥰
Isn’t it the best bringing an animal from a neglectful situation into paradise!!
Not sure how you arrived on my feed! But I am truly pleased you did! The love you have for your piggies warms my heart! It's such a shame that people such as yourself are needed, but I am so glad that these piggies found their way to you. Bless you and all of your piggies. Thank you for making my evening
The one girl with the brown face and white body looked so much better after her bath and blowout! The little boy running around made me cry so much and I love what you are doing for them! ❤❤
Baby guinea pigs landed in a really good hope foster home with you guys. Thanks for rescuing them.❤
That male baby pop corning around made me so happy and brought tears to my eyes! You can tell they were so happy they had room to run and play!
guinea pig popcorn zoomies the minute he got a new home was so sweet!
Time stamp?
@@tabithawalker The females first get into the new big cage around the 27:00 minute mark, they get pretty happy soon after that. The males get into their cage around the 30:00 minute mark and the baby starts popcorning very soon after that.
@@heatherwanderer777 thank youu!!
@@tabithawalker you're welcome :)
I didn't think i was going to get so emotional but hearing the squeaks and seeing them eat just made me so happy ❤ you're amazing for doing this
you remind me of my aunt! whenever she sees an animal specifically dogs in a bad situation she needs and wants to help them. she ends up fostering then adopting. 😂❤
I never cry at anything but when you showed them in their old home I broke my heart, I saw adults and babies start living, they were so happy! Thank you Austin and Andy for giving these beautiful pigs a much better life, I have just finished crying! 😢❤
I just realized their names are Austin and Andy, like the show Austin and Ally lol
But I genuinely almost cried watching this video. Would've been happy tears and sad tears.
3 cheers for Andy the most excellent Pig Room Assistant!!!
That poor Mama, she has moderate scurvy. I've seen it far too many times. Thank you for helping these little beans! 🥰💖
Thank you for rescuing these neglected piggies, clearly your on top of nutritional, as well as medical needs, you are literally a Godsend for these little Guinea pigs, you can see they're so pleased, and happy with their new home!!
I'm a new subscriber. I never really comment on CZcams videos, but I just wanted to thank you for all that you do. It's so amazing for my cynical self to see that this earth has such kind people like you.
If you live in the Ohio area once they are ready to be adopted I'm looking for a friend for my male and will gladly take one of the males! I love your vids and are so happy you rescued these pigs and hope they all live happy and long lives. You are amazing!❤
Aaq
Can I just say you did AMAZING for these Guinea pigs and their pups. I swear piggies are so precious and should be protected at all costs🙌🏼🙌🏼
I just rescued 2 piggies Lol 😅 that was me yesterday, and today. Then ordered tons of things off Amazon. Today same thing. I just love them already. It's not cheap, plus all the organic vegetables etc. So worth it. Just love guinea pigs. ❤
I’m so glad you rescued them! Hope they are healthy
You are living my dream, and I love every second of it! I'm literally crying with joy to see these pigs in such a wonderful home and starting to live a good life. Thank you for everything you do for these sweet souls!
Thank you for stepping up, Austin and Andy.
Happy to help out some piggies in need 🐷🙌🏻
You know, the world needs people like you. The work you do saving little piggy lives is invaluable. Every life you improve and save makes the world better by creating good. Thank you for what you do. I had a Guinea pig as a child waaay back in the Dark Ages, he was quite grumpy, but I was very fond of him. Gulliver, as he was forever escaping and going on travels and coming back a few days later. Weird little pig. Love your videos, brought back good memories. 😊
It's so wonderful that you rescued the piggies. They're so cute running & playing. They must think they're in heaven. You're a very caring person.
Wow, I assumed you’ve been at this for years already! The way you handled them, gave them eye drops and medication, or tube feeding, cleaning the ears, the feet! You looked like a pro already.
come on this guy is so underated for the effort he puts into looking after these pigs!
Whoever treated those guinea pigs that way deserves prison ! Thank you for rescuing these beautiful little creatures ( subscribed and notifications on ) 👍❤️🇬🇧🇬🇧
When the baby boy was jumping on all of those small beds!!! Oh my gosh!! So cute, and I can tell they've never expirienced anything close to that.
The little one running around happily omg Austin thank you so much for rescuing them all Guinea pigs deserve this care . Tysm💞💞
I love when people actually care about proper care for guinea pigs! thank you for doing all this!
Seeing the babies get excited just made me cry. I am so happy they are in good hands. Thank you so much for helping these little angels. I love you for what you do. Piggies are so awesome!!!!
I just discovered your channel. This was the actually very first video I’ve watched from you. SO. NOT. DISAPPOINTED.
I love guinea pigs.
I love good DIYs.
I love rescues.
I love everything about this video. You sold me your channel as soon as you checked every single pig for problems with their eyes and health in general AND brought a professional on board to make sure you don’t miss anything.
You’re super responsible with your animals and that’s amazing!!! ❤
I’m so happy you were able to save them, I know they are in much better hands now!
At 37.20 ish roughly I had to have a giggle seeing the piggie breakaway on the floor in the background. Rewound it to make sure I saw what I thought I’d seen haha. So cute.
Absolutely love little Connie and hope she does well. Two of the piggies are spitting images of two I own also. both were girls whereas mine are both boys.
Thank you so much for rescuing these little ones
I totally missed it 😂 He somehow found his way back in the cage a minute later
I saw that too😂😂
Aww 🤣🥰
I love that guinea pigs are one of the only animals I know of that actually gets really excited when you clean their enclosure. Mine used to run around and mess with all his furniture to get it into the arrangement he wanted lol
They are all like, "Is this for real? I can run, play and have lots of yummy food tooo! "Thank you for rescuing me and my friends!
I rescued 3 piggies last year, each were kept individually in a small dirty cage so they could be stacked on top of each other. Once I had health checked them and put them all in separate 2x3 c and c enclosures (it was the only space I could provide but it was bigger than the cages they were in) I cried. I was so so overwhelmed as I already had 2 other pigs, now i had 5 in total. A few months later and now I have 6. It's alot of work but worth it.
I have so much more appreciation for you, Autumn, Alyssa, and Sarah
So sweet of you to rescue these sweet babies!
You don’t even understand I STARTED BAWLINGFF 😭😭 I miss my bunny so much even though she died 5 months ago she was amaizing…
This was both so heartbreaking AND heartwarming... I am so happy to see such little cutie patooties given the life they deserve
Thank you so much for saving them from that horrible situation. It’s lovely to see their new amazing cages and how much they are enjoying their new life. ❤
The Mum is an absolute sweetheart, I’d die to have her with my piggies but I’m in the UK! Thanks so much for saving them, you are a piggy guardian angel. ♥️
Thank you for saving theses sweet guinea pigs. Thay have a better life!!!
Yess, i was definately not the only person with tears in my eyes when they were being put into their new amazing home! I rescued a female guinea pig in the exact same situation and she ended up being pregnanat and haveming 7 babies a month later, i know how hard it but but i know how enjoyable it is also! Love you ❤
This made me cry so much! Thank you Austin for making them the happiest piggies alive!
You deserve more recognition with time the CZcams algorithm will push your videos out and you’ll gain more recognition, you are such an underrated CZcamsr and you deserve more subscribers >:) I believe in you

@@ThePigRoom if you ever need to talk I’m here for you. ^^
The little one running was so cute, it really shows how much he need to do that, it really shows how much you care for your Guinea pigs, when you were with the malnourished one and you said I’m sorry sweetie I could really here that you were actually really sorry
You could tell they were so happy to be in such a large space. You did a fabulous job on their cages! ❤
It warms my heart to see them enjoying their new life. And seeing that little boy running and popcorning..so sweet. Thank you for rescuing them.
What a situation...you guys are awesome.
The shot of the morning after looked as if the piggies had themselves a housewarming party
Thank you for caring and I look forward to watching an update on the lucky 13 crew that are in a safe place now thanks to you
Thank you so much for rescuing those in need always! I have two guinea pigs who I prioritise above everything and it really pains me to see some owners not taking care of theirs. 😢
Who else has been shopping and had someone walk up and ask, "Do you work here?" - yeah, I know that feeling.
You are truly a guinea pig angel! Thank you so much for showing these fur babies such love! The world needs more people like you!
Yes! I would love to see a piggie bath video. That little baby boy piggie running in a loop around and popcorning through the bunk beds; one of the most precious things I have ever seen!
I feel terrible for the mini pigs! I'm glad their ok now, they seemed relived at the fact they're not always bumping into to each other. Your amazing! I Love mini pig's so much!
Yes I love you, Sarah, And Autumn 🍂 ❤❤❤
this brought tears to my eyes the fact your gigving these baby a new life is so amazing the little boys running aroud 🥰was so sweet
Thank you for rescuing those adorable pigs and finding them loving homes.
I rescued a rabbit and pig living together in a small cage a few years ago. I already had house rabbits so I knew the two species shouldn't have been living together.
I gave the pig to my neighbour who had a small herd as I had no experience with them, but I kept the dwarf rabbit and she lived with my other two bunnies.
Thank you for taking care of these sweet piggies. I had 2 and unfortunately not for too long due to an incident with my dog. I miss my girls and i know guinea pigs dont get as much love as they give to us and as much as they deserve. So really, thank you. I can tell these sweet piggies are gonna have one amazing healthy life ahead.
Im so sorry for these poor little cretures tysm for rescuing them you have a golden heart and the woman(or man) who did this to those poor babys shoud be in prison
Holy crap I had a dream like this months ago and woke up crying. So glad you helped these winnies.
Omg the love you have for these piggies radiates through the screen. I started tearing up when i heard the joy in your voice once you put the girls in their new enclosure! SOOOOO much better. They seemed happy even despite all the trauma of the day!!!
My youngest son had Miss Ginny and she passed as an old lady. She was spoiled. Watching you has taken me down memory lane.❤❤ so much love to you and your rescue ❤❤
Aww this made me cry 😭🥺 thank you so much for saving them they are so happy now🥺😭🥰
Connie is such a fitting name idk I love it lol 😭 I applaud you for doing what you do and I’m happy to know that it is your passion and you love it ❤
Thank you for rescuing them!!! I am not very active on Instagram so I miss your fundraisers for rescues. Trying to get better. Hearing their happiness gave me soo much joy! 💖
I'm glad to see someone who actually cares for these precious, little critters and is willing to go or of their way to rescue them. I rescue roosters, myself, but I rescued one guinea pig years ago from a pretty awful situation. He had a slight hourglass shape when he stretched out, his nails were horribly overgrown, and he was living outside (western Washington) in the middle of this person's unkempt lawn year-round in a simple wire cage, and they thought he'd get all his necessary nutrients from the grass growing into his cage. I kept him in my room in a glass terrarium so I could keep an eye on him, nursed him back to health until he was nice and plump, socialised him, and was eventually able to rehome him to a good friend who fell in love with him the first time they met where he was able to live out the rest of his life in peace and comfort.
It's painfully rare to find others who genuinely care for "non-traditional" pets, and it warms my heart to see someone as dedicated as I am to my boys for another species of animal in desperate need of better understanding and care than the layman gives. Keep up the good work, and I'm very glad to hear that you have a supportive community backing your endeavours to help these critters. They most certainly deserve it.
25:52 looked like my old piggy, named her caramel and she was stubborn but she had a obvious smirk on her everytime we saw her
Thank you Austin for being an amazing person in this world with a HUGE heart to rescue all these little babies. To know that anyone would ever do something like that to ANY creature just absolutely breaks me! I love all animals and have a piggy of my own. He is a lone pig but that is only because I adopted him from someone and they said he was constantly bullied by other piggies so she kept him alone😢. My mom also will not let me have another one. But I literally SPOIL him so much! He lives in a 55” by 33” cage and I let him free-Rome my room. I play with him and socialize with him very often throughout the entire day(I homeschool) I just want to say thank you sooo much for saving all these little innocent guys! They are all so freaking adorable❤. I hope Connie makes a full recovery soon. Love all your amazing work!!❤❤😊
you’re so amazing for giving them a amazing home, tears are in my eyes lmaoo
I’ve had three piggies throughout my life, all three of them were given to me because nobody wanted them anymore. They were so neglected- my first one was an absolute heartache for me, he lived with a chain smoker and had respiratory issues that turned into pneumonia. We took him to the vet and they put him down and let me hold him and cuddle him until he eventually passed. It’s absolutely insane what people will do to these animals. You’re doing such and amazing thing saving these piggies!! Thank goodness they found someone like you!
I foster for a
Rescue that takes cats and kittens. SO MANY of my fosters are from Facebook. My last two were three weeks old being given away for free on Facebook marketplace. It took two people before me to get the kittens to me. Horrible condition. But all three have been adopted and I am so proud of them. Rescuing is so rewarding
Thank you for helping this family of piggies. It's a shame that you can't keep the babies around a little bit longer so you can watch their development. Connie is actually kind of lucky to be in such bad shape because she gets to stay with you (at least for a while longer). You're right to know your limits. Having too many piggies would over-stress you and make you find less joy in piggie keeping. As much as I'd like to see all of them stay in your care, you're doing the right thing.
All of those piggies look sooo happy in their new enclosures! So adorable
Awwwww❤!!!Thank you for saving them!30:17 he’s so happy !!
the way they all look so much happier when you put them in the new cages, life they already know they've been saved 🥺🥺🥺
Hey Austin so glad you saved them, some of those male babies the tiny ones maybe a bit young to leave their mums yet.
They are back with their momma 🍼
Good. I was wondering that as well.
@@ThePigRoom Awesome. I was just wondering that as well
Thank you so much for saving them. They are so cute ❤️🥰
That little boy guinea pig running around and jumping was so cute it made me cry
i dont understand how people "dont know" about an animal yet still acquire them... i had never had guinea pigs before, and saw the flaws in my friends care for hers. Thankfully she rehomed them to me. and i did all the research before agreeing. The second they came to me the pair had a 6x2 cage, unlimited hay, veggies, pellets and the proper cleaning and care... only issue with them now is their skiddish. Thats what happens when a 9 year old harassed them every day for over a year.. poor babies. Much happier now
This is my first time seeing any of your videos because I’m a reptile girly but I also rescue animals so this just warmed my heart so much I’m so happy you found them before the situation got 10 times worse ❤️
OH my goodness! MiniWinnie was BOOKING it thru the bunk beds lol. I love them all so much, lol. you are so awesome. my heart is so happy that I found your channel. I am so excited to see these babies thrive!

What an amazing vlog! The work you do is so inspirational 💕 you do such an amazing job and it is so rewarding to see the difference you make to these piggies lives through all the popcorning, zoomies and munching on hay. Keep up the amazing work 🙌
The editing, the vibes, the funny Home Depot stuff, this is probably the best video yet.
hearing them instantly make their little noises was so heartwarming
Thank you for saving these piggies I am a former guinea pig owner 😢 I had 4 girls in a 3 x 7 C&C cage ❤ I cared for them so much, and it broke my heart that I had to rehome them, but they were spoiled while they were in my care with veggies every day the great pellets and hay so this really hit home for me 😭😭😭😭
Seeing this makes me soooo sad. I miss my piggies, and it hurts me to see people keep them in such conditions. Hearing those happy wheeks brings a smile to my face! I'm shocked by how well they all took your little exams, my pigs would have given you a hell of a time 😂
This video has really warmed my heart to see such kindness and care given to these adorable pigs.
