Pathan is an ethnic identity bro like Jutt, Pathan has been there for thousands of years. They are original dwellers of Afghanistan, before Islam Pathan were Buddhist and before Buddhism Pathans followed Sanatan(Hindu). Hindu is a new term comparatively. Pathan's history goes back 5000+ years.

Yes good and bad people are everywhere but yes there are historical connections with Afganistan to be short Shakuni played a role of villan / bad guy but on the contrary his sister Gandhari who was also Afgani was good and respected woman. It is said that Gandhari gave a shrap to Shakuni in a rage that because of his wrongdoings her children had to die untimely in war and its believed that any woman who is good have power in her worlds halaki baadme gussa shant honeper uska upay bola hoga usne ki isme innocents suffer honge so should not be permanent but this is what story we heard. And yes even if Shakuni played bit negative role of instegating war but still he cannot be blamed completely for war other culprits were also there uske sath bhi toh galat hua tha. We cannot say bhishma pitamaha was very good as he misused his power a lot earlier and then later after realisation became good person we can say but still and same with Shakuni later after Sahadev conversation he became bit calm but ye Gandhari was raged as her sons died who wasnt even born or had part of what pitamah did that time.He got swarg because he was not actually bad but situation he had to face was tough and that led to his decisions.Its pretty clear why Shakuni probably hating that marriage of Gandhari all altogether because he had to see wrath and face but yes still he shouldnt have provocated Kaurav's for fight as Gandhari has no actually role of Pitamahas behaviour and possibility she didnt even knew what happened later and but yes Shakuni actually successfully finished Kuruvansh including his sisters sons as she married their quite complicated and extreme politics played in Mahabharata we can say and probably wanted to war happen but not Kaurava's win he was just like brainwashing them for war.

@@greaterbharat4175 Krishna had tried his 100% so that no war could happen . Pandav's after so much suffering don't wants war but Duryodhana was the man who only want war and not to share the Dynasty and want to kill Pandavas.
Even till the war is about to start Arjun don't wants to war in revenge that's why Krishna explained him that now quitting the war is not any mercy towards others but it's neglecting your dharma i.e. to protect.
Because now the war was not for revenge, but it becomes protection of Pandava vansha.
Kauravas were the aggressor of the war .
Do you think Krishna and Pandavas had fought the war if Duryodhana had given them 5 villages as asked , or only a small land to live there peacefully?

Wrong information, shakuni is not his real name his name was Saubala, Kitava, but he chose to be called as shakuni ( a large Bird) his fathers name was Subala who was the k8ng of the mountain Kingdom of Gandhara, he had 100 sons and 01 daughter from different wifes prominent sons were Achala, Vrishaka, Gaja and othes, shakuni was the youngest son, the story goes that they had married their only sister Gandhari to Dhritharashtra who was the king of Kuru kingdom and were wealthy kings, when there was acute famine in Gandhara they sent a letter to their sister Gandhari that there is famine in Gandhara and they want to stay a few days in The kingdom of Kuru untill the famine goes, so she requested Dhritarashtra to allow them to stay in Hastinapura the capital of Kuru Kingdom, he agreed and sent a letter back to Gandhara to come to Hastinapura, all the Gandhara kings family along with their belongongs sarted to travel to Hastinapura from Gandhara while travelling one of the boy stumbled on a rock and lost his toe nail so in anger all his 99 brothers bought impliments and started to dig the rock it became too long as the Rock was just a tip of a big boulder underground, when they didnt reach Hastinapura in time Drithrashtra sent soldiers to look for them when the soldiers went and saw they were surprised and austounded that the brothers had dugup a huge lake and moving a giant boulder, they got scared and ran to hastinapura to inform them about this, all the Kurus discussed this and decided that they are dangerous to the safety of the kingdom as they will not tolerate anything and they will destroy Kuru kingdom so it was better to destroy them, they quickly built a underground cave with royal furnishings with lot of food and refreshments, they invited all the Gandharas into that cave which looked like a palace and they all started to eat frentically, suddenly the Kurus closed the door of tge cave with a huge boulder, all the gandharas were trapped inside rhe cave, then they gave one handfull of rice or wheat to the brothers which they fought and with each other and after a few weeks and months many started to die, the Subala couldnt see this and called all his sons and said we have been betrayed by the Kurus we will all die if we fight so we will select the most intelligent among all of you and only he will survive and the rest will die, he placed a bone and pulled a thread from his dress and asked his sons to pass the thread into the bone without touching the bone, everyone failed qhen the handicaoped Shakuni came he caught an ant and tied the thread to its leg then placed a rice grain on the other end of the bone the ant passed through the bone towards the rice grain so Shakuni won all of them gave their food to shakuni and 99 brothers died only handicapped shakuni survived his father subala asked shakuni to make dice from his bones and use them as it would listen to him at all costs, thats why he hated kauravas, when kauravas saw that only one handicapped boy has survived gandhari begged that he be allowed to live then after seeing him and thinking what can a lame boy do to the mighty kuru kingdom they allowed him to live, then shakuni started his plan to destroy Kauravas.
