I did my first livestream on the beginning of June, when I got the opportunity to interview someone. I was rushing to learn how to use StreamYard with your tutorials, and it went OK.
I also bought the Rode NT USB Mini, as per your recommendation and I love it!
What stand do you have for it? The one I bought is not that good.

i'm streaming mon thru fri from 1 to 5, but that might be changing soon...might switch to mornings...is it aight if i update this if i do change it? also, i LOVE th way u did the sponsor...u worked it into th whole video instead of it just being one part :D and the fact that u already use it is icing on the cake :D question tho, wut do i do if i cant change the thumbnail on the service i use?

I started Friday morning live stream oil painting show and I’ve done five or six episodes -it’s been a little bit scary and a learning experience, I just started using stream yard and I’m pumped about the possibilities with it , I’m really looking forward to listening to your video, 😎👍

That was really useful. I've been publishing online for 10+ years but only got into vlogging when lockdown happened. I go live from my phone but want to crack the art of using the computer and streaming software - I'm a bit baffled right now! I do a live chat show each week - combination of a bit of planning and a lot of winging it. I also live stream while I'm out and about to bring variety to my channel. I'm a very WYSIWYG person so I don't have a problem with the chat - it's the tech that I'm behind on!
I recently hit 1000 subs and I am now prepping for a monthly live stream. My first one is next Tuesday! Thanks for this info!! It is very helpful in getting me prepared! My biggest concern is my brain just going blank lol The slides idea is genius and I plan on using that even if I can't necessarily show it to my audience. That will help me stay on track!
I only have 600 subscribers but it says go live although I never see any people watching my videos. Do I have to have 1000 subscribers to actually see. people watching my video and chat with them?

Thanks Omar! I plan on going live for the first time next Tuesday and I'm preparing now. Tonight I'll be making my thumbnail and writing the description so that I can schedule the livestream tomorrow. I'm a virtual teacher, and "go live" every day with my students. I am looking at this as another lesson where I'll have a prepared history lesson that I'll go through. If this works for me, then it will save me a ton in editing and allow me to post more often.
Never done one before but I’m planning to do one really soon… but now I have to see if my gear is up to the challenge!

i do a live stream every other Wednesday night at 7 pm eastern.. I didn't know you could set a thumb nail for a up coming stream, and the duel monitor is something I have used for a couple years now, with stream yards it is so easy to share the screens.

Great tips Omar!!! Love your content. I have not done live streams on the channel yet just for church sermons. Seems VERY different though.
I definitely believe churches should be going live for their congregations throughout the week! Maybe a devotional or season to go through a book in the bible but a smart way to engage with your church during the week!

That's because like he said. This is a pre-recorded video he can edit, redo it etc..he said with live stream because people are watching live like a concert or show. You can't edit live😂 the comments can be roasting him or he do something clumsy or whatever, it's LIVE. Can't edit that.
Great tips Omar! Your videos are super helpful! I have been doing livestreams for a while and need to up my game. I have an OLD Canon Rebel T3 but I don't think that will cut it. Do you recommend a newer Canon or Sony or with phone cameras these days I could get away with that?

Hey Omar, I have been livestreaming for the last 121 days and will go live again tomorrow. Got some valuable tips from you. changed the settings, I use Streamyard and I stream simultaneously to other platforms as well. Loved the idea of attaching the thumbnail prior to the live. Will start doing that from tomorrow. Will also start making use of the slides since that adds variety like you said. Super idea! I am using my Mac to livestream so have not added any cameras or mics. Would love some feedback if you can manage since there are more than 150 videos there. Thanks so much

If I'm coming across some connection issues when using streamyards, what would you recommend as a way to troubleshoot that, does an ethernet cable work well or is it morso about properly using the right export or broadcast setting? What would you recommend? I streamed to CZcams on one video and one to Twitter/Twitch/CZcams on the next. The one with fewer locations ran smoother, thoughts? I do actually love stream yards and am brand new to it, that's why I wanted to get as much info as possible. Currently I've only done the two tests but am really excited to learning more about stream yards

Hey Omar, that was a great video and I got a lot of value from it… Good job! I’m doing the one K challenge this week and today I did my first live stream. I had a question I wanted to see if maybe you could help me I didn’t get to see my live stream after I did it. Does the live stream on CZcams save anywhere automatically ? So I did my first live stream of a single dad‘s perspective, and when I ended the live stream, it just kind of disappeared, and I never saw it again. Is there anyway I can live stream and record to watch it back and post it later? Thanks so much, I love the think media team program, it’s inspired me so much, and hope to hear from you. Thank you!
We do not live stream yet. We eventually will get into live streaming. Since we just started making videos, we haven't set a goal for when to incorporate live streaming. Any suggestions?

Hey Omar, on monetizing our livestreaming using Streamyard, how do you 'corral' the audience that you're reaching out to say on CZcams? I know Think does it on Facebook within a group. Is that the only way possible? or is the alternative within Streamyard to stream to a limited group
