- I grew up with this band playing its message of hope and acceptance on the radio throughout the 70's and 80's. It was the essence of what disco was all about, dancing your troubles away on the dance floor, forget about them and remember the fun and joy you can have....this song was always too short for me...so here is my take on a longer version. Hope you like! I've been away for a while...

At my granddaughters wedding reception, the music the dj was playing was okay for the younger crowd but I noticed the moms pops anddddd grandpops and grandmoms were sitting talking so I went up to the dj gave him 10 bucks told him to play this MAN every chair in the hall was empty!

Earth Wind & Fired visited the US Marine house in Buenos Aires, Argentina. They not only ate lunch with all their American fans, they offered us 20 Row 10 Seats in front of the concert. I will never forget the group’s humanity, civility and talent. Love them all.
