since AED is pegged to USD what do you think about the current projection of the AED? A lot of countries are starting to move away from USD and it could get much more ugly if it continues. Do you think AED would come off of the USD peg?
Aed definitely isn’t safe currency I would still trust USD those guys run the world I doubt they will ever collapse

Great analysis. I see that these banks are not going anywhere. I think the most important question is if the UAE dirham will hold its value or purchasing power in an inflationary/hyper inflationary situation?
Well, it is pegged to usd, so no gains there, but if you are european, then it appreciated almost 41% against euro in past 15 years. Dirham is one of the strongest currencies, i would say only behind swiss franc and singapore dollar. By the way, first abudabi bank is 31st safest bank in the whole world, by global finance magazine.

I think the banks in UAE thanks to tighter regulations will prove to be safer (Relatively) compared to say banks in USA. Generally, government interference globally is not seen in a positive light but an government such as that of UAE is way more trustworthy when it comes to safely and effectively controlling the economy

If you have a million U.S. dollars of savings deposited in this bank and we have a currency crash then the bank covering this deposit means nothing if the million the Guarantee is worthless

Dubai is a great place but it has some downsides.
You cannot become a citizen or get their passport. So if your visa runs out u need to get out of there even if you lived there for your whole life. There is a sword constantly on your head.
Even though it is tax free but it's expensive and in the end your total expenses are the same campared to other countries. Unless you are filthy rich.
Dubai is built for the businesspeople and Uber rich people. Rest of the people are just servents.

1. Why do you need to be citizen or passport holder? You can enjoy the life regardless
2. If you have a job or property you have residency. If not then you wouldn't be able to live there anyway
3. What sword are you talking about? Behave according to the laws and you will be left alone. Otherwise you will be deported. There is no sword just you're own responsibility
4. In Europe everyone is a servant and a tax slave to your government masters. At least in dubai you keep what you earn. Workers maids and other lower paid people at least have a job and the capacity to make something. Imagine those people in Europe or the US. Failing WOKE society's
