There are many philanthropists who have contributed to the upkeep and care of the home over the years. There are also fundraising efforts in furtherance of the vision and mission of the home.

      Know history. Jamaica gained independence from Britain in 1962. They were British subjects when they fought in the wars, thus, they were not fighting another man's war, they were fighting for their country.
