Just saw the film, I loved it. It's a real revelation in computer technology. The entire cast is incredibly talented. I loved Christian Bale and Benedict Cumberbatch the most. Benedict as the tiger is very special, I loved the plot twist at the end. His performance cut's through and you see it in his eyes, he has some of the best lines and it's a real credit to his skills as an actor.
It's the Jungle Book I've always wanted to see but never could because of the limits in technology. It's very dark.

Really curious to see how Serkis’s take differs from Favreau’s

This is dark, not for unaccompanied young children, but is a stunning film. It takes inspiration of writer Rudyard Kipling's stories in classic 'The Jungle Book' and prominent character in them, Mowgli, and combines all that with modern film technology. It is well directed by Andy Serkis. The animals are characterised by a string of distinguished acting names like Serkis, Christian Bale, Cate Blanchett, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Hollander, Naomie Harris, Eddie Marsan, Peter Mullan, while young Rohan Chand does well as Mowgli. The soundtrack by Nitin Sawhney excitingly closes what has been a superb film.

Andy Serkis: you know what? i have a million dollars , how about i use it to create the best film adaption of The Jungle Book ever made?
Warner Brothes: i don't think that concept will be very appealing with our target demographic
    YMS: the cgi sucks

There is nothing called "spoke Indian".
India has 22 official languages. According to Census of India, the total number of mother tongues spoken in India is 1652. However, only around 150 languages have a sizable speaking population. The Indian census of 1961 recognised 1,652 different languages in India (including languages not native to the subcontinent).
