I love how you respect others that think differently from you and you don't bash us by saying, " you f'ing dumbasses! There ain't no God" blah...blah...blah There are people that do too much FORCING their views on others and their views are THE right views...period. I am a christian. Have all of my life believed in God. I Don't preach my walk with Jesus on to other people. Sometimes being a Christian and talking to God is the only thing that gets me through some of the tragedies I've been in lately. That's what helps me. I have tolerance and love people so much that there's no way I would ever preach on to them. I loved this reaction, Mark! I also love this song so much. Thank you for being such a cool dude and someone I can enjoy watching when my mother passed away 3 months ago. It's not been a lot of joy in my life as of lately. I don't why I love this song so much but I love this song so much. I grew up with an atheist mother and a father who had no religious background. My mom was very religious as a young girl until she had a very traumatic experience that made her completely loose her faith. Kinda like you, but different experiences...like if there was a God, how could this happen to her?
So I grew up with no religion and still have no religion in my life but this song hits deep...yes those NF songs that seem so simplistic have those emotionally complex nuggets in them.
No matter what one believes in, we've all been in that position where we ask "Why is this happening to me?" It's easy at those moments to pray and ask God to fix it. And its easy to get angry and blame God because things aren't changing but sometimes there just doesn't seem to be an answer as to why other than how can we appreciate, maybe not like, but appreciate what's in front of us and do something with it. We may not be in control of everything, but we are in control of how we take what life has handed us. Whether we feel it's good or bad, do we appreciate it? Do we use it to it's fullest? Or do we get stuck in our ruts and blame God or others for the changes we lack to make? We only have one life...everybody dies but don't everybody live though

I was born & raised in a secular household, but i have such admiration for believers who actually do follow the core values of their religion.. Love. So i have a ton of love for this track despite my own absent faith.. however, theres one interesting part i never catch anyone ever pointing out.. so maybe im looking too hard into it.. the line at 12:48 “what are ya’ll doin down there?.... idk lord”... who’s asking???? I mean, i understand its Nates voice and writing. But perceptionally, isnt that kinda bizarre? “What are ya’ll doin DOWN THERE?” Is that the big G? Which Nate then answers “I don’t know, Lord”... no one ever notices, and im not even religious, but im dying to know why he wrote that dialogue.. it really is a BEAUTIFUL track.. much ❤️❤️

Would love a reaction to Sevin "In My Hood". It's about a 5 minute song, the second half of the video is a prayer for Sevin's hood. Sevin's music is like listening to a Christian Tupac, in my opinion. Dude is totally Christian and totally a gangsta. Lol.
He's ready when you're ready. He's always there for us unlike people who turn their backs on us when things get rough. Scripture says work out your own salvation. You don't have to take what somebody else is doing and follow the exact path. God will work with you where you are and what you have to bring to the table. The fact that Nate is still alive and producing amazing music after all he's been through speaks volumes. His faith in God and his music are what has gotten him through and made him stronger.

Great reaction! NF is so good because he's rapping his truth, but he doesn't preach and make others feel bad. He doesn't say you he says we, he puts himself with everyone else. NF can do a song completely about God and an atheist can enjoy it. I'm a Christian, but I believe everyone has a right to choose what they believe in. You seem like a great guy, don't let anyone try to make you believe something you don't believe in your heart. Only God decides what happens when we die. Have a great day!
