Hey Nick, thanks for great review! I'm starting to realise that I really enjoy hybrid games - MUCH more than simply either euro or AT. Specific aspects we look for: 1. Strategic mainly, but with some luck (ideally mitigated) 2. Thematic 3. Direct player interaction 4. Under 3-4 hours for up to 6players (though not every game needs to play 6 - depends on how many ppl turn up on game night!!) 5. Should be FUN! 6. Scale fairly well with differing player counts (not a deal-breaker) Examples we love are: Cyclades, Discworld, Cosmic encounter, Camlyn's Destiny, Mission red planet, Warrior knights. All of these satisfy the above criteria for us, BUT have DIFFERENT mechanisms, so we get a different experience with each, but it is still fun and memorable. So Variety of mechanics and game types is itself a goal. Do you think City of Irons fulfils the above criteria? Cheers, Sal
This was the most succinct review I've seen you do. I imagine it was scripted? I much prefer this--your thoughts were organized and sequential and we got a good overview of the game and its components. Well done on this.
I've just bought YOURS first edition. Thank you for taking the time to explain the difference and how, if we like to, change it to the second.. Very nice of you :)
Just bought this game last Friday. Haven't played it yet, but I don't understand why the goods tracks have symbols for the different land types (above the "2" coin icon). If it's in the rules, I can't find it. Thoughts?

Never played City of Iron nor watched a review on it before. Not in my realm of tastes but the game looks solid.
Great video. Been wondering about this. Good overview. :)
Awesome video. Really helpful in understanding some of this game.
What is the game in the background with the monster mouth/tongue?

Are you going to reviewing the new DC Deckbuilder Crisis Pack 3 that drops tomorrow?
+Matafer Oh god, I hate those things. But I want new characters and main deck cards. I might get it...like a battered wife coming back again.
Back ground music?!?!
It's way too loud and distracting.
