Climber is one great choice and I would like to add claymore, real, slam dunk, metamorphosis (emergence), 20th century boyz and boy's abyss as well. Hope he also sees old legendary animes like tomorrow's joe, hajime no ippo, cowboy bebop, eva and movies like serial experiment lain, spirited away, shojo tsubaki and perfect blue.

@@erenjeager6583 I got into slam dunk after I watched Hajime no ippo and by luck, I found the manga recommendation and damn now it is one of my favourite fictional pieces of medium of all time.
Yes, I also liked it a bit more than berserk and you said it all.
But Berserk had same kind of philosophy but in a different tone, cause Guts simply had to go through more pain and struggle but his dualism against revenge a d his wish for peaceful life was remarkable.

Do read this manga 'The Climber' aka kokou no hito. If you liked vagabond, berserk you will definately like this one.
One thing i want to add in this is that, the first 30 chps are shonen after that the mangaka was changed, so after 30 chps it is seinen

It's my favourite manga of all time. although its sad that inoue san has left the manga at such a cliffhanger with no battle between musashi and sasaki. I wish he would leave all the basketball manga like real and come back to vagabond. Also try reading the book that inspired inoue san musashi by Eiji yoshikawa. It's a great book with somewhat of a similar story to manga but there are major changes like otsu's brother learns under musashi.

I had to leave Jojo SBR in mid (cant get that feel in manga) , then started hajime no ippo and still on ep 50. I wanna see many more other anime like evangelion, hunter x hunter , vagabond (again manga) etc and watched many pieces of art like jojo , berserk and even naruto but now i cant catch up 💀 (ik it sounds dumb) Any solution.
