Its been a long time coming this one. Went through him the first time last year and went through again just to refresh. I like a lot of his stuff, its good.
The Stranger is one of the best albums of the seventies. The title track is an outstanding, haunting song. Few artists can write like Billy Joel. I don't care who you are, his lyrics will speak to you.
Funnily enough, I’ve only heard three of his albums (Piano Man, The Stranger and Storm Front) but The Stranger was so good that I had to give it to you on that first rate your albums. Thank you for doing this ranking, and now I’ve actually gotta go listen to more of his albums

His last great album was The Nylon Curtain. After that: a few good songs and some annoying ones. Captain Jack is his best song.
