The plays shown by these opponents was honestly quite a shock as I thought Xenoverse 2 didn't need any skill and the fights in this video proves that it doesn't need any skill.
Everyone limit bursts, plays cheap, is TIMID or just relying on flat out broken mechanics.

zumage yeah but some people do it after every thing they do
zumage It is the reasoning and side effects of ki blasting with the ingame mechanics that makes it cheesy. In the series ki blasts are never used to cut down animation frames to speed up overall movement like in Xenoverse, they are almost always used to directly cause damage or as a way to kick up debris to conceal a followup attack. The speed increase is not inherantly cheese though as it is a great way to allow some slower characters to keep up with faster ones like Rosé Goku Black. However that speed increase coupled with a fast character can prove to be annoying to fight against when they can dip out of the way before you initiate a combo string. Worst of all though irregardless of the skill of the player or the movement speed and animation speed of the character is thoee who ki blast cancel after every missed combo string attempt that is true fromage. It doesn't take skill due to it being pure muscle memory and it (subjectively) looks disgusting

Fair in trying not to get stuck in combo frames
Unfair in spamming it to stun your opponent

As long as you don't *spam* it, then its fair. Kind of. However incertain stiuations like Steedoj's, then it is kind of unfair/annoying but i don't have a problem with it when its a close match

Ki cancels are a crutch to me. They remind me of Kamehameha Cancels from the first game. They teach you to play unsafe since you can use the cancel to get out of stuff you shouldn't be able to get out of.
Ki stunning is just as annoying but at least it has some counterplay. Neither takes skill.

If it is part of the game, which you know, everyone in the cast can do, then I do not think it is a crutch, if anything, it makes more characters with lots of lag in their moves and less opportunities to guard cancel like Tapion more viable in pvp. Yeah it can be annoying as all hell, but if everyone has that option, I don't think it is a crutch. I do agree that both don't have that much of a skill curve, but that doesn't mean that it doesn't take any curve at all to learn.

I stopped trying on this game when limit bursts were added and now i only get on with friends or after a new dlc
@@darkgamer1000 do think what makes those mechanics become more flawed due to how shitty online is, the netcode makes it so that people can easily get away because of hit detection, but then again, I don't really think that dbxv2 is really built to be competitive, I've always put more time to the pve aspects of the game
All characters can throw the yellow ki blast. If both players are good at it, it leads to a more interesting game where both players repeatedly dodge each other attack until one person messes up. If ki cancel wasn’t a thing the person who would wait for the enemy to attack all the time would have a huge advantage because the attacker would always be stuck in frames trying to catch him and be wide open.

I've started doing ki canceling that recently when I just kept running to a lot of players that did that a lot. I see some CZcamsrs that do it. A few of my friends that are good at the game do it. I only see those that use it to escape instead of stunning players. I only notice some use it for fast pace and escape for characters not quick for back hits or people anticipating for the vanish. With limit burst added in the game, I can't take this game serious enough to probably have great matches. I get some or few but it's like dimps doesn't want us to take fighting that competively (though I do play this for fun and not act like a try hard player). I say I'm an average c- or b class player, but shoot I can't tell what is skill or not when the majority does it. Great video though that was great steed! Keep up the hustle

I personally feel like ki canceling and ki entering (throwing out a ki blast and engaging) is entirely fair. It’s a mechanic in the game that can be used by everyone. I can see how it’d be an unfair match if someone who wasnt ki canceling fought someone who was. Then they’d constantly be getting caught in combos because they couldn’t dash out of their animation. Every high tier player does it. There’s no point to fight it considering it isn’t cheesy. You could say “well if you say that then aura slide spammers have justification”. Not true. Aura slide is a move to be used and most people abuse the power to use a move with such high priority as aura slide. It’s not a mechanic built into the game like ki canceling and ki stunning.

And let’s say there are more since he’s the first that popped into my head, there’s only a handful of characters that can’t ki stun. Considering the roster has many character slots with cast who can ki stun it still makes the game fair

However, it seems that those original characters with it are the only ones who can actually implement them into their combos. Is this true, or is there combos for CaCs that Instant Transmission fits into? It seems really cool, but I can't figure out the answer to this anywhere, due to noone talking about it anywhere. Or maybe am I wrong and you don't actually press Instant Transmission in his kit to do the aerial combo? Thanks!
