- This guy is truly an amazing vocalist! It's pretty clear that he loves the Lord. The beauty of it he illustrates that God is welcomed anywhere even amongst a group of singers that sing many different Genres of music. One of the most beautiful demonstrations I've seen in a while.

helluvaluva he’s not anointed. He has been given a gift from God to sing with great range and beautifully. He can become anointed by laying out before God, obedience and repentance. I have heard people who doesn’t sing with this range and not as beautifully but were anointed. The man can sing yes. Being anointed is an entirely different thing.

Lord Make me over---is my favorite song by him!!! If you recall he was "church hurt" and wrote an open letter years ago. "Church folk" need to STOP IT ----they don't have a heaven or hell to put anyone in, they need to make sure their business is in order with the Lord. I had the opportunity to share an elevator ride with him, 2018, in MS---he was on tour with THE ONE THE ONLY MS PATTI LABELLE! She said he can "sang his face off" ---his annointing is undeniable! My prayer is that he find peace and live out the purpose God has for his life.

Tonex is still one of my favorite male vocalist. Everything doesn't always have to be critiqued from church. It's awesome how God works, esp. since his ways and thoughts are not ours. He knows how to bring people together that would not normally come together. God can use who and what he wants to accomplish his purpose. I think what is really sad is that some of those who go to church from Sunday to Sunday and are probably the most judgmental ones of all don't live the life that they confess and are going to be lost on the coat tails of the church and some of the ones that have been judged and criticized after a fall are going to be the ones saved. That's why we have to be so careful about who we put our mouths on esp. those that God have chosen and anointed for his service (whether they have backslid or not ) Thank God that what has been instilled in us doesn't go away. Just some food for thought...

I'll never forget this young man's coming out party in 1994. He was releasing a new single and me and a group of brothers who had formed a choir for black History Month in San Diego somehow got invited to open up for this brother. I was impressed then and still am with this brother's gift through the Holy Spirit. I still pray God's blessing over his life and the life of his family.
He's a bad man to hear him sing my hairs standing up on my arms & I got chills. Omg he did that. Love BSlade & his song Make me over.

All of you that are coming on here judging this man.. remember that the word of God says Judge not that ye be not judged..The same hatred that you throw at him you may be looking at on jugdgment day. All that we can do is Pray for his soul and go on.. The Word of God also say to let the wheat and tare grow up together and at the end time I (meaning God himself) will do the separating.. Leave this brother alone.. He will find his way back to God if HE choses to.

As long as the participants accept the flow of the Spirit, the Spirit can show up. It's up to the person or people to set an atmosphere where the Spirit can show up. And it was in this environment He came in. He can show up any where He chooses. At church, at home or even in a place like this one. The Spirit of God is not limited.
