I don’t understand why such entirely underpowered trucks drive on these very steep roads in India. This is dangerous for all people who are traveling there.
Its not under power issue, problem is overloading the truck than its proposed limit. At least 5-10 times is common in India.
@@HyperXgamingadda Sir, I am for India. The problem is our huge population which leads to corruption. Now a days, with advent of technology, all these things are coming under control on account of better roads and new trucks with very good power. This problem can easily be solved with one way up with a timing and one way down with a timing. So that, opposite traffic is avoided.

Any vehicle that cannot climb the ghat on its own power should not be allowed on this section. Look at how much resources (men, fuel wasted) were spent in clearing the traffic.
I think it's not about the power. It's about the Turning radius. The Drivers did not get enough space through right to To take a Comfortable turn and it's all about the tourqe

I have often viewed that truckers having overload goods found unable to climb highest portion.
Actually it is not because of overloading it is loaded correctly it is because of the momentum they are not bringing even a omni can't go if you stop in the middle
