I adore Strauss II. His music was the reason I learned how to play the electronic organ. I heard my big sister play Tales fm the Vienna Woods on her Yamaha Electone FE-40 as a young child and I was entranced fm then on. I have old CD collections of his music and so I find this collection most exquisite. Thank you so much.
Johann Strauss made more music outside of waltzes and polkas, but the people of his time only wanted the popular, I think that Schani has been unfair in that area, they should look for the music he composed for himself and make it known to the world
