  • The Manor House garden in Upton Grey, Hampshire, has been restored to the original 1908 Gertrude Jekyll design. Mrs Wallinger who owns the garden and who is responsible for this restoration, narrates this film with a tour though the garden with notes on Jekylls design & styles.

I love being able to see the garden. This is on my wish list of gardens to visit. I purchased Mrs. Wallinger's book about the restoration. How wonderful to see the fruits of all that labor.

Wonderful. Mrs. Wallinger's narration does not explain that it was she who restored this classic 1908 Gertrude Jekyll garden from abandonment and obscurity, and made it perhaps the most accurate and authentic re-creation of a Jekyll design which has ever been attempted.
