This video was coffee perfection! I always really enjoy your words as well as your content. The words are so important, they also give me a feeling. I am a Finn, and coffee is so much a part of a culture I grew up with. My Grandfather drank his coffee so hot he poured it into his saucer and slurped it like a cat. In our house it is "coffee Time" which always includes a pastry or sweet of some type. You never just serve someone coffee alone! My earliest memory is dunking the hard cinnamon toast into my coffee as a kid. I wanted to drink it early, because I wanted to be around all the adults, so happy with their coffee time. No matter how bad the day was before, or a bad nights sleep, I always look forward to my coffee times. The ritual is comforting, and I love making it many different ways. Presently I do a pour over in the morning, and a mocha pot in the afternoon. I just use a small manual milk frothier to make my cappuccino. My parents never knew what a cappuccino was. All they drank was boiled coffee on the stove in a stainless steel pot with a glass lid. Black, and very very hot. My Grandmother made it in a pot with an egg shell to draw out the impurities. The smell of fresh coffee brewing will always remind me of my parents and all my relatives who have passed. It was our simple, special bond. Thank you for this lovely tribute to coffee time xxx

Beautiful video! ❤️ To some people, a good day starts with a good coffee, especially when shared with loved ones. I remember when I was young, the whistling of the kettle would wake me and the aroma of coffee would soon fill the air. And i would dip my pandesal into my coffee cup. Fond memories 😊. But now, I cannot tolerate too much caffeine. It’s always my husband who’s enjoying more and more coffee and I enjoy making cups for him, learning different brewing methods. We love having friends over at our home and bond over coffee and tea. It is true that it can be quite expensive having equipments at home, but enjoying a good cup of coffee at the comfort of your home is priceless. 😊

My first coffee memories are of me as a child feeling very grown up when my mom let me add a tablespoon of her coffee to my cup of milk for vacation breakfasts - a memory I really cherish. Then come afternoons spent with a schoolfriend sitting in a local coffee chain, talking about everything going on in our lives. And it has had this role of connecting with people and developing stronger relationships with them ever since. Colleagues, friends, acquaintances… you get to learn something deeper about them over a cup of coffee.

A time I remember coffee fondly is when I went to the iconic Bewley’s coffee house in Dublin in 1974. I was in Ireland as a teenage to visit relatives, and I felt so grown up ordering coffee there. You could smell that beautiful smell from blockage away!

Love your channel. I feel about coffee the way you do. The smell, the taste, the ritual of sitting and savoring it. The best memories I have with my Mom were sitting on her back porch as the sun was coming up and talking about life. Or simply watching and listening to the birds welcome a new day. Hi Jen, love that you showed the different ways you make coffee. We could almost smell it! The flowers your husband gave you were so beautiful. My fondest memory of coffee is my nana making coffee on her stovetop in a "turkish coffee pot" We would drink it in little espresso cups. As I grew into a teen, I would go my aunts house with my mom and nana and we would walk into her house and the smell of coffee would hit our noses......it smelled so good. She used a stovetop percolater. She would fill our coffee cups, and we would all put sugar and creme in it. Then we would enjoy our coffee while eating lavash bread, string cheese and hard boiled eggs.......it was the best memory 💖💖 I am older now, but that memory still makes me smile 🥰🥰

Thank You for a new video! Here is US Valentine's Day is also a day for friendship. At least here is SF- Palo Alto area. But it's rather international population here so I don't know if it's everywhere in US like that. I have a little urban succulent farm and people order succulent arrangements for their co-workers and friends for Valentine's Day quite a lot:) Your husband is really sweet to buy beautiful roses for you. We don't celebrate Valentine's Day with my husband as we have a wedding day always one week after. It's kinda Valentine's Day for us;) I get always same roses as I had in my wedding bouquet;)
Thank you Susanna, that’s good to know that some part of US also celebrate the same friendship day. My husband usually gives me the same flowers, same flowers I had from our wedding. It’s his first time giving me red roses.☺️

My first coffee memories go back to my childhood; spending Saturday mornings with my best friend, drinking ‘frothy’ coffee in Bakers Oven, watching people go by as they did their shopping. I can still hear the sound of the frothing machine ❤

I m from Brazil and I love drinking coffee. In Brazil used to drink coffee all day and night. Now I live in USA for years and I need my coffee in the morning and I really enjoy drinking slowly. Need to be strong and hot.The best drink is coffee.

Nice vlog today about coffee time. My first coffee was corn coffee. The aroma, the taste I miss it and. It was ok for children to drink it. Now it is instant coffee onky for adults.

El siguiente con mis compañeras de piso cuando era soltera, eran las mejores tazas de café con leche llenos de risas y pan Dulce. Beautiful sharing Jen, I started drinking coffee back then in my hometown using instant coffee with any flavours and then growing up i been introduce to black coffee which in the beginning i don’t like. Now, I used to have atleast 2 coffee moments in a day and the rest was tea 🍵

I’ve read Finland citizens drink more coffee per person than any other country. I think you prove that point. I see you have a technovorm, a sage (Breville) espresso machine, chemex, Kalita, Moka pot. A Hario also? Very impressive

this is such a beautiful and calming vlog! growing up, i did not really enjoy the bitter taste of coffee, so i didn't drink. i remember trying to make it once and i had to search how to do it. however, when i entered college, caffeine became my study buddy. and it's definitely the special memory i have with coffee. the sleepless nights i spent studying with a cup of ice cold coffee on my table will always linger in my mind and make me feel proud of myself for surviving all-nighters for my dream.
