    Two reasons for cayenne pepper:
    To control bleeding
    To sprinkle under your tongue ( sublingually) if you suspect heart attack or stroke.

I also use the cayenne pepper oil in the winter on my feet because they are always cold and the oil helps to keep them warm

    I just started drinking a glass of warm water, some cayenne pepper and lime/lemon. Drink it before one time daily 30 minutes before a meal (preferably in the morning).

    Since a cup equals to 8 ounces, am making mine with 4 different type of oils which are coconut oil, almond oil, castor oil and olive oil 2 ounces of each and the 2 tablespoons of cayenne pepper, I also make my own coconut oil and used on my skin as a body lotion, is a wonderful oil and is very light not heavy, am going to start working on how to make the almond oil, it looks very easy to make and I hope that the next batch of oil I'll have those 2 homemade oils ready.

  • @Qochemist
    @Qochemist Před 11 lety +3

    I mainly used mine in my thin areas...around my edges. I didn't find my oil to turn.. It would feel warm when I rubbed it in... I actually left mine on because it didn't irritate my hairline at all....

I am not sure how many previous videos you've watched but at the beginning of the year I mentioned I wanted to take the year to experiment with everything I have ever wanted to try in order to build my custom hair regimen. That's what I am doing. I discover things by trying them out and this is the year.... I will definitely have a steady routine next year though :-)

    Just wondering if the cayenne pepper will destroy the nutrients and the properties of the other oils it is mixed with? maybe a stupid question. how would it affect a mixture of emu and castor oil? or even pumpkin seed oil

    • @duchessgabrielle
      @duchessgabrielle  Před 9 lety +8

      Da Revoolver I don't think any oil would destroy the properties of the cayenne pepper. The concern is you need an oil that can extract the capsicum from the peppers. Olive and fractionated coconut are the best in that case. Almond comes a distant third. Once you have the cayenne oil, you can mix it with other oils you like in small batches so you don't destroy the whole batch in case something doesn't work. This also allows you to try different combinations with your cayenne oil and other oils like emu or castor. That's how I would do it.
      It's not a stupid question quite the opposite. It's a valid one.

    How or where did you learn all the scientific reasoning for this. I am getting very much into this. I'd like to learn the manufacturing of all minerals, oils, vitamins, and what they do. I have a desire to open my own line of soaps, conditioners and shampoo makeup all organic. What is your advice on the first step?

    • @duchessgabrielle
      @duchessgabrielle  Před 10 lety +6

      I would say the first step is basic chemistry class, followed by a naturopathy one if you can. Everything on earth is basically a chemical that contains different elements that have reacted. From this understudying, it's very easy to work backwards provided you have an idea of chemistry. Books are a great treasure..read as many as you can. Every great idea begins with a desire...you are already there so hold on to you dream and keep pushing :-)

    • @duchessgabrielle

      +NyDeviant Not necessarily...It could mean several things; You have a high threshold for the heat, the cayenne heat isn't high enough or there isn't enough cayenne in the mix. I would say give it at least a month and then see if there are any changes. Once you know, adjust the recipe or method of use

      It's 1/2 cup of the coconut oil. It looks like she is using fractionated coconut oil. And then, after the oil has infused with the cayenne for 2 weeks, she drained the oil off and mixed 1/2 cup of the other oil. I think she said it was avocado oil although I'm sure olive oil would be another good one.

    • @duchessgabrielle
      @duchessgabrielle  Před 10 lety +9

      Three days is not enough time. To see any potential changes for any product, you need at least 30 days of continued use. Also, keep in mind that the mix does not make your hair grow, it works by correcting deficiencies that may be hindering you from reaching your potential genetic growth rate. So you might not have any deficiencies that need correction, in which case you would see no difference. That's highly unlikely though because blood flow to the scalp is the first to be sacrificed when we are under stress, hormonal changes, unbalanced diets, toxic blood etc. Just by nature of our lives, most of us face these challenges. I hope that makes sense.

      @duchessgabrielle  Před 3 lety

      Yes, those are good oils. There's scientific evidence that coconut oil is among the few oils that penetrate into the hair shaft. Mixing it with other oils means it's able to "drag" the other oils into the hair shaft. Olive, avocado and coconut are my all time favorite hair oils so I can't recommend coconut and olive enough. Brynn Raymond Dry...a little every night directly on the scalp and a bit more in Friday night (prepping for muds). Never on the strands though because that magnifies the chances of the pepper getting into the eyes, nose and mouth. It will be severely uncomfortable if that happens. Please be careful.

      Thank you! Also- have you tried using apple cider vinegar to re grow hair? I've heard it works wonders not only with overall health, but with skin and hair loss.

    can i leave this mix all night or will it burn my hair?

    • @duchessgabrielle

      It depends on your tolerance for the tingling sensation. I was applying it daily with no issues but a I used a small amount.

      DuchessGabrielle Do you leave the oil on your hair overnight? I heard from hair loss saloon that oil can block the pores in your hair follicles and prevent hair growth and warn me about putting oil on my scalp. What do you think?

      Nanalasun sunset Coconut oil. No water in this formula. If you add water you'll need to preserve. Otherwise it will go bad.

      Dark glass jar in a dark place. Then I put a small amount in a squeeze bottle and leave that in the bathroom for daily use. It needs to stay away from sunlight and heat.

    Is there any reason that all of these hair growth vids are produced by African American women? Every single one, and it makes me wonder why....

    • @duchessgabrielle
      @duchessgabrielle  Před 10 lety +22

      Because for the longest time we have bought into the hype that our hair just does not grow....but that is not true at all. If we can learn to care for our hair, it can grow to any length that our genes allow. Personally, I am about finding all the natural care I can find for my hair and optimizing my growth....to become living proof that, with proper care... African hair does grow...abundantly and beautifully. That's the mission :-)

      I was thinking it was that "hair is dead".
      Did I get the recipe correct here, from your video?
      QUESTION: To leave on the scalp for HOW LONG? (blank on second-to-last list).
      Thank you!
      Place following ingredients in about a 1-cup container:
      2 tbsp cayenne pepper
      ½ c. Coconut oil
      LET the mix ‘rest’ for 2 weeks.
      THEN, pour off the coconut oil/cayenne, which is to be used.
      ½ c. olive oil to be added
      TO USE, Put on gloves, or not. Cayenne oil will not hurt, it will just make your hands warmer than usual.
      Apply to scalp only
      Leave on the scalp for __ hours.
      Gently wash the hair
