I tried push hold this and that the same time but it doesn’t work. Later on, I try put in freezer for 15 minutes, then hold power and volume down key for 7-10 seconds it did turn on but won’t last for more then 10 minutes blue light again. It did turn on and blue light again and again. The battery showed 52%
my s6 hit the ground while was listening to music then went of automatically then restarted itself but no logo on screen, didn` t vibrate but blue light pulsing near sensor and doesn`t stop. when plugged to charger, red light appears and then the moment i press home button, all lights go off still black on screen. been 3hours, tried the pressing thing no response,,,,,,,please HELP!

Hi. I had a same isue with my phone. No boot option was working. Finaly I connected my phone to the PC while its has just the Samsung message on the sceern nothing else. Start the Kies 3 program. Listening for the connection ping sound and I get the working S7 again.
Hi. I was wrong. Not the PC program is important. The USB power is the key. My method is TEMPORARY as I get the same fault twice again. So the phone need jump-start. When your phone sitting on the Samsung S7 Powered by... with blue light or black screen with blue light, connect to the power source. You will get the charge icon. Now you need PATIENCE!!!!! You will Press the Volume Down+Power untill its restart. Wait. After the start you will get the same Samsung S7 screen again and again. Allways wait few minutes until its looks like nothing happening. Just keep restart the phone, maybe with just the power button only. When you get the phone back to live, DONT open the screen wait until you have the time is counting on your screen. If the time is working few minutes your phone back to live, if not will restart itself again. I was do this last time 3-4 HOURS. I hope its helps.

I had this exact same issue yesterday. I was able to figure it out and now my phone is on and charging. All I did was nothing but kept my phone on the charger for 6 hours or overnight and the light was gone and my phone was charging
Same problem there, I used the factory reset and it keeps happening after that. Really I've never been so dissapointed by a cellphone as I'm with this s7 edge !!
I didn't find the quick solution yet, but, most of the people that got this problem solve it by replacing the screen system by samsung, and this what i'm about to do too, since it is still covered by samsung 1 year warranty.
If you want to restart the cellphone and skip the blue light, just hold the power button + volume down button (as it is shown in the video herein) it will work but the problem won't be resolved since it will happen again (this is my case)
I had the same problem. All i did was that pressed power and volume down button for few seconds.actually its a software problem.after a turned on mobile after applying the above fix emergency mod disabled was written on drop menu. Update software and this will never happen again
************-HERE IS WHAT I DID TO FIX MY PHONE:************ first, this is just what i did, i do not advise anyone do any of this, i take no responsibility for any damages that occur if you try this. this is JUST what I did to MY phone. 1) hold down power, down volume, and home for about 20 seconds. (Enter download mode) 2) try to restart by pressing the down volume button. 3) if step 2 does not work, repeat step 1 4) instead of resetting with the down button, press up to attempt to download a new/custom OS 5) dont install a new OS, just shut off your phone by holding down the power button. 6) attempt to power on. this is what fixed it for me, i dont believe i lost any information like this but the time and date was different. Edit: the sim card and SD card were not read and the wifi and data wont connect, but i was able to get access to my photos.

Dank Memmes if you you have time and patience you can do it.If not,stop reading. you need a heat gun which is a blow dryer on steroids to heat the back of the phone.(must remove sim card first)You will then used cards and a razor blade to take the back of the phone off(after heating with heat gun)Watching a disassembly tutorial would help with this process. You will then remove all screws in the back of the phone. now push on the visible portion of the battery while holding the aluminum frame it should pop apart. now unplug the battery (right side of rear camera) now clean of any contacts that may appear to be flawed in any way.if any are burned or corroded clean them. now check inside all of the plugs on the phone, go ahead and blow them out. now put the phone back together,check your plugs and make sure all of your buttons work before putting the back glass back on. this method worked for me,I just had to try stuff.My phone had randomly shut off and screen wouldn't turn back on. although the phone was on with a notification light flashing in the top from dark to light blue. be sure to comment on here weather it worked or if you ran into some sort of problem. GOOD LUCK; )
Put your phone in the freezer for 10-15 mins.. this will cool down the processor letting the screen come on in time for you to do you system reset with the down volume key and the power button.
WAIT TILL UR BATTERY GETS DRAIN THEN PLUG ON THE CHARGER IT WILL SOLVE UR PROBLEM AFTER THAT U UPDATE UR FRIMWARE

You have to replace the battery... and free up some space after that , my phone storage was almost full, I did that and now it works.
