I will agree only on the last negative point. Yes there is engine noise inside the cabin while driving. As for clutch it is ok as well as the steering wheel. It becomes harder after 50kmph being a speed sensitive steering which makes you safer.

Clutch travel is long- agreed. One gets used to it. Minor issue.
Steering is 'heavy' in city - I don't agree. It's pretty light and responsive.
Yes, what I don't like about the steering is is its return to centre ability. The last quarter turn has ALWAYS to be returned by hand. That's a moderate irritation.
Engine noise within the cabin- very acceptable. Yes, if noise insulation had been better, it would have been a quieter cabin, but no complaints here.
Visible vibrations on an OPEN door, yes. But that's there in other makes in the same segment too, to some extent. Shut the door, vibrations are not perceptible. Acceptable.
Well, none of the 'cons' features are deal breakers, and when I get so much equipment at 2.5- 3+ lacs less than equivalent models of competitors, that's enough to have made my decision.

Got my XE last week ! So far feeling great while driving ! Not drove more than 60 speed, drives smooth but till now only one point - steering is little heavy as it takes some efforts to initiate turn but thereafter no big deal and I found it returning back after turn ! Rightly mentioned clutch is deep and also gear shift could have been smoother. However, it is still too worthy to its price and basic model is having all required stuff !
Please tell about the AC and performance, mileage of the car is it a good buy ?
