I'm pretty sure he's cut out meet and greets before his shows. He doesn't like having to put on a fake smile and pretend for people and I'm ok with that. As much as I'd like to vibe with him for a minute, I'd rather him be honest and real and look after his mental health.

I just did a school project on a celebrity. I picked Nate. My teacher had no clue who he was and joked that he was a fake person (real music lmao) but was super suprised when I told her he didn't cuss or rap about normal things. Don't judge a book by it's title.

If you wanna do his old catalogue I’d suggest going back to the Mansion album and start with Intro and work your way through. His videos and songs intertwine...you’ll definitely recognize that starting from there

@@827mejones I think based on it being from the Perception album it could be that his perception was being locked up inside his mind and not being able to truly be who he is inside. Which he references in the song Why on the search. And the reason it was in the Search song was to call back that he has left behind his cage and is now moving forward with his burdens and not leaving them locked inside his mind. Might be a stretch but maybe.

There is a song called Returns on his most recent album 'The Search'. The last line is "Normal to you is not to me, the Outcast finally returns".
NF is by far my favorite, he is so talented not only with his songs but also the videos and messages that link them together. I love how real he is! I also have so much respect for him and keeping his music free of cussing and disrespect for women. He has a line "not too graphic but not pg" He is so real and graphic but yet I can listen to him with my kids sitting next to me. Loved watching your reaction and how you broke down the video!

i believe the shopping cart represents this cage but as a portable one.
Nelson Andrade but the cart has one open part of it, maybe representative of him breaking out of that cage, but he's not fully recovered from the reasoning why he was in the cage to begin with? And that it follows him wherever he goes?

Love seeing you discover new and now old NF! To add to all the symbolism that you picked up: that cage is at the very beginning of the search video. So his line, "nah, you should see me when the door's open" in this song hits harder. He leaves his comfort zone of the cage after this perception album and starts his journey for the search album- which is personally where I think the cart comes into play. He climbs in the cart a lot in the all of search videos(the search, leave me alone, why), so I see it as his portable "outcast cage" or "comfort zone". It's awesome how connected and how deep you can breakdown his videos! Keep up the great reactions!

This is a key song in his chronology.....this Cage goes with him on tour......the painted on smile is something numerous fans paint on themselves, and there's a group of fans that call themselves Outcasts. Song is FIRE!
NF is an artist I've only recently discovered. I was always a Grunge fan, Rap never spoke to me until I found NF. He reminds me a great deal of Kurt Cobain, obviously not lyrically or stylistically, but in his relationship to his music and his fame. Having that relentless urge to create, while simultaneously fearing the fame that comes of it. This man touches my soul in the same way Kurt touched it back in the '90s.
Remember This and Therapy Session are two you should definitely check out!

You should react to Remember This from the Perception album, if you haven’t yet of course. There isn’t a music video. I enjoy your reactions because you break down the poetic rhyme schemes that some people don’t necessarily pay attention to. It’s like spoken word poetry that rides a beat. Rather than trying to make each word rhyme. His use of poetic cadence and syllables rather than actual rhymes even though he obviously does that.
