ADVERTISING
As content creation is our business and how we earn our living you will see advertising in our content from time to time in different forms:
We are very selective about what brands we work with on paid/sponsored content creation and as a rule we don't work with any brand that we don't already or wouldn't spend our own money on. We are incredibly proud of all our brand partnership content and it will always be disclaimed in the most transparent way possible so you know exactly what is with 'AD' on screen and in the description box. If the entire video is an 'AD' this will be in the title of the video.
Because we don't work with a large amount of brands on sponsored content we do rely on our CZcams ad revenue. Any adverts you watch during the duration of our videos will earn us a small percentage of 'ad revenue' from CZcams and we really appreciate you watching the adverts in full (and not skipping them), but only if and when you can.
We also use 'Affiliate Links' in the description boxes below our videos and if you make a purchase via these links we will earn a small percentage of commission depending on the sale amount. Not all links are affiliate links but just assume they are.
Any items/links marked with '[AD - Pr products]' are products which have been 'gifted' from the respective brands without a contract for sponsored content. This is still classed as a form of advertising because nothing is ever "free", brands are gaining exposure to our audience by us featuring them, so these items are marked as 'AD-Pr product' in the description box but we are under no obligation to feature these items. And as with our paid content, we never accept gifting/pr products from brands that we don't already or wouldn't spend our money on. If we have received a press discount on anything featured this will also be disclaimed.

Great idea for a kitchen island too. Its committed to my memory bank now. Thanks Emma x
Yes definitely although you’d need some kind of spinning lock to keep it in place if using in a Kitchen for chopping on it, you wouldn’t want to lose a finger 🙊

Genius 💡 You are a a very talented person.
Very impressive and great idea 😊
You should get a slab or wood counter to extend the island to bar height counter so you can sit and fold -12” overhang is safe without cracking 😊
Absolutely ingenious!!!
Wow!!!

You’re a 🌟!
Guauua q belleza es genial saludos desde uruguay 🇺🇾 💙 😊
Super ideas.
Beautiful! 🤩 I love your videos they’re informative, quick and straight to the point.
Just curious, instead of putting the 3 pieces of MDV would filling the gap between the two cabinets with wood filler then sanding the surfaces then painting them, do you think the outcome would have been similar?
You could definitely do that but as we only glued the 2 units together (to avoid using unsightly screws internally) you would run the risk of visible cracks with movement. I trust the glue we used but over time there will definitely be movement x
Wow! Where did you learn all these handyman work, Emma? Great job. Wish I could do it, too. 😊
Just through practice and experience renovating our past homes x
Emma what a brilliant idea & it rotates so smoothly. You & Simon are outstanding at the d i y.
Such a great hack 🤩 what's the brand of strong adhesive that you used?
We used something called "Sticks Like" but any strong adhesive should work 👍
Hi you are tooooo gooood
Top 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😍😍
Love the idea, but how do you open the doors of the cabinet easily? I didn’t see a “push to open” mechanism
There is a push to open mechanism 👍🏼
You two really should have your own DYI TV show on HGTV. 🤭
❤❤❤
❤
👍👍👍👍
You don’t need to prime ikea cabinets before painting?
Not if using this particular Kitchen cupboard paint as it has a primer ‘built in’ to the paint formula. You MUST sand them though 👍🏼
🙌 x
...And a bad back! Pmsl. Nah all jokes aside, great job!
🙌👏😊
Hi, I may not have caught the message. I’m confused. I don’t mean this is any ill way. If it’s already white, why are you painting it white?
It’s not been painted white, it’s Portland Stone which is a light neutral shade 👍🏼
@@EmmaHill ok thank you Emma.
Was about to ask the same question. Thank you for the clarification
Yes, Portland Stone is a putty colour (I love it), and it’s quite different from white.
🤍🤍🤍
Unreal 😍 that’s some work - well done! Looks amazing… 🤎
Love it!!!
