I do not think so. Soccer is getting less and less physical, they are protecting talent and skillfull players this way. VAR is not helping; any sign of a contact in slow motion will result in a penalty/free kick. So, a big muscular guy like Traore might help on offense, just like Drogba did, but on defense it is almost bad. Smaller guys like Messi, Hazard, Sterling and so on are only getting more and more calls and it will keep going.
