Ranch Wedding in the Rocky Mountain Foothills | Brittney + Kolton

The foothills of the Rocky Mountains in southern Alberta provided a gorgeous backdrop for Brittney and Kolton's ranch wedding in southern Alberta.
Despite a high-profile career that took her to the big city, Brittney remained a farm girl at heart. So it's only natural that she fell in love with Kolton, who came from the same kind of agricultural background, growing up on a 100-year-old farm near Nanton.
After years of a long-distance relationship and numerous moves, they both finally found themselves in southern Alberta and able to move ahead with their marriage plans. We'd met both of them a few years before, while filming her friend Samantha's wedding near Ponoka (Brittney was a bridesmaid at the wedding and Sam returned the favour.)
For their ceremony, Brittney and Kolton chose the Blake Ranch, situated in the foothills near Nanton, Alberta. With Saddle Mountain just visible in the distance, they were joined by friends and family on a hot, but thankfully breezy day.
