- Let's have a thorough look at how exactly Devil & Angel rooms are spawned, and how you can make sure you get them.

Taking a devil deal does not remove your chances of Angel Room for the entire run. It just makes it less likely for you to get one. Denying Deals with the Devils (If you are going for Angel Rooms, just don't even enter Devil Rooms) also increase the chance of Angel Rooms. Just keep ignoring Devil Deals and you should one. Otherwise, the criteria is the same
If you want angel rooms you can also get faith up items rich will increase the chances

you get a devil deal guaranteed as long as you dont take any redheart-damage
Kibou Madsen once you take a devil deal the chance gets smaller for the next level
If you don't take damage on boos room it is a 35% chance,if you don't take damage on the floor its a 99% chance.
The ingame stats with the found hud say 100%
Yeah it is guaranteed. 100% chance.
That's only the case for floor 2

If any of you red hearts are taken away the devil deal will go almost to zero. The reason you got the devil deal with taking lots of damage is because of the soul hearts
you have got the Devil room by taking damage, because the damage was absorbed by the blue containers , they do not count
It's not "don't take damage". It's don't take RED heart damage. Specifically enemies, you can take red hp damage from entering and exiting curse rooms, hp donation machine, and devil beggars. If your curse room spawns spiders or bombs and hit you, you lost your chances, assuming your still on red hp

If you get damage on soul hearts and black hearts it wont change the chance it changes it only if you get damage on red hearts

So I was trying to get an angel room to spawn so I can kill Mega Satan so I watched this. Then all of a sudden, a devil room spawned on depths 2 and so I entered it only to find Mom's knife. I exited with regret and 1 red heart left.

You can spawn angel rooms as Azazel.

So i have a question I GOT AN ANGEL ROOM AND I HAD HOAT HEAD AMKES 0 SENCE (i'm not an expert)
When you take the head u have 100 % chance of having the devil room, but i think in your run u choosed to not have a deal with a demon so that increase chance of having an angel room by 50%.
100 % having a devil deal but still 50 % that it an angel room
