The fact the G can effortlessly drive around the wasteland and rack up the kills like that just shows how broken it is. It never should have been made. End of story

I can't understand these devs. Drones are a big problem right now. Matches have 3 to 6 players. Drones on ur own team run into you, drone players drag matches out by running away the whole time. Deva add a new more broke drone lol...Wtf? A drone build by itself isn't the issue but when u have a bunch of them, all the players running away it ruins matches. A lot of people are getting sick of playing because of it. 8 to 9k is a mess ATM
Honestly it's just greed. They don't care about you if you're not a whale or youtuber. At least that's how they portray themselves.
@Kristian Froelich why would you assume I don't have a fast build? the issues isn't only the drones on the enemy team, like I said drones on your own team drive in your way all the time. its not fun to have to avoid the enemy and your own team
I don't know man, my machine gun and autocannon builds always wreck drones easily.

i love drones just because how they chase enemies.
Either the developers ban drones or a point defense weapon like a caucus that auto attacks drones with a basic machine gun, but smaller.

I've never had a problem with drones, but with the addition of these, here are my thoughts.
1- Increase power requirement to 5
2- decrease the drone count to 4 to put it in line with the rest of the drones
3- give all flying/wheel drones the tracking ability.
i feel the ability to only bring 3 vs 4 drones will be huge. And adding the tracking ability to them since you can now only have 3.
A great nerf for them would just be. Make it work the way the spark does. You know the spark 3 the wreapon it's equip with? The spark targets movement parts and weapons first. If it didn't attack the cab it wouldn't be so bad. Otherwise the spark 3 would be a nightmare too

Question. If using a photon will these drones do more damage to heated parts?
G do you get a better lock on distance if you put in a large radar that doesn't use up points, also if you use 3 instead of 4 and put in a radar that transmits as well, would it keep a lock on even when out of sight if they appear on the map? you definitely used the best cab for this build giving your build more durability for every drone up to 3 at a time

I wish other drones has the target feature as they either hump each other, go for someone who you don't want them to go for or just hug you, my greds boys are good don't get me wrong but if I target the people I want them to attack that would make it much better but of course you'd have to stay close other wise they stop attacking and come back to you like your there mummy 😂
Hey man, big fan of your vids. Question for you or anyone else who'd know... So I finally hit lvl 75 and got my annihilator, and it just doesn't attack anything, in match or test drive. All it does is just fly around. Any suggestions?
Max drone/turret count of 2 per build. Makes them more support than main weapon.
There should be a module that is anti drone. It should like slow down drone refreshing by 15% for all enemies just once by those drones that got nerfed by the module. Or there should be an EMP type module that disables all drone movement/shooting for 1-3 seconds and should also affect the enemy players. Like typhoon effect that disables movement. Maybe there could be a module that destroys all drones in range and have 1 time use per battle but it would be too op and will kill drone builds for good. But I think honestly EMP could be a great module to be added to the game. Also I thought there should be more cabins with similar perk like Steppe. Epic or legendary cabins that would boost for example. Hover speed, track speed etc.

@Kristian Froelich Im so sorry, i got one. (not planning on getting more, i need to to free myself from kapkans, and defence against close range encounters) they pair well in pvp with fortunes (dual fortune, colosess, annilhator and cloak| zufed harpy, 4 bigrams, apollo)

I felt the salt in your voice. Yes im sad too, i play in 8k-9k ps and get to much grenadiers, now some fellas are seal clubbing with 2 or 3 of these annihilators and you can't even shoot them because the mfs just need to change the targets. This drive me so mad, even the shotguns in my wedge build aren't capable of doing something, also it's ridiculous how a gl impulse is so damn useless compared to a grenadier. Also so much things need to change, like make new epic wheels and wheels in general worthy again in higher ps, machine guns buff, new weapon styles....
@Kristian Froelich All you said just make sense in programming bias. In practical situations, almost all the imaginable situations, you are fighting other guy and some droner gets closer, cloack and wreck you up. If you try to avoid the drones simply the other players will kill you when running out. So the choices are:
You die and kill at least 1
Die avoiding the drones.
By the way try to win a x1 with a drone build that just need to surround you and get away or worst, goliath tracks with granadiers (this is almost a crime). I have the money to buy granadiers, i just don't do it because it's a broken weapon, too much imbalanced. And if you are going to tell me that i just need to aim for the drones first, please don't say nothing more, so obvious to point, but in reality 3 drones at high speed with small hitboxes? Nah, you are going to destroy 1 or 2 at maximum and die trying. The only META counter is teamplay, something a bit harder when you play mostly casually.

ok so in my opinion a simple way to Nerf cancer meta drone builds is just make all mg weapons like super effective onto being able to kill them ..... boom 2 problems salved either like a buff to aiming or buff to mg-> drone damage or something like that
I think we want drones in the game but there should be more of a rock paper scissors approach. I think an interesting idea would be to have the Caucasus do double damage to drones and 2/3rd damage to everything else. If you start seeing too many drones you would see people run one. If not, no one would bother playing them as they would be terrible against non-drone builds. You would also see more builds put one on which I think would be interesting. I also think as far as effectiveness goes you should always have High skill weapon played well > Low skill weapon > high skill weapon played poorly.

Try FFA brawl at about 7K. Wedge with one of those death machines + maces/sledgehammers/fafnirs/(whatever shotgun) oh and cloak ofc.
Mr. G I rage quit daily due to drones. It's a damn different game if people dont want to aim and just drive in circles. It infuriates me like no other. Can u start a campaign for a Drone only or a Drone free mode.

They should get a bigger hitbox, less damage, and the electricity should hit the closest part not the cabin

@@kizion7589 I can live with the scorpion, but they gotta give some kind of armor protection. It's more believable that the grenadier. But there's really no stopping it at under 10K PS.
Drones take one button to use and scorpions take positioning and aiming skill to use I don't see your problem, "give some armo protection" learn how to build properly, but seeing as you probably only can manage to play drones with a single mouse button that's probably too much to ask

Lower acquisition-range a bit, lower drone movement-speed, if you lose sight of target for 5+ seconds they lose target.
I'm personaly not a big fan of the more than 2 of the same weapon on one build. And THIS is a good example of that.
Some weapons don't work well with just 2, shotguns machine guns are played with multiples

@@damianolima2100 well Lance's sorta need more than 2 too sometimes I use 3 blues on my shotgun set up. Lance builds are a pain but at least after 1 good hit they are done

Do NOT drone in raids, ever. They run out of ammo, are rebuilding while you need to shoot right now, and get in the way of your mates.

Players dont know how to deal with them yet, they seem to panic.
Dealing with a few is fine, go to 14k PS and try dealing with 8 or more, it's not a lot of fun.
tbh the abillity to rarget drones on command, and kapkans are why i consider it adding them to my fortune build... then i would also have one energy free that i could use on a verifier

As evident in the recent Coldfire video, they are only op in pvp, he played it in cw, and had at the very best "minor" success, with all 4 of them using it in cw yesterday.
Why people complain is due to people abusing it in low ps, it has nothing to do with the weapon itself. People are so used to drones beeing op since before that every new one that comes out is automaticaly op.
And content creators are not helping. While the majority of players play them in pvp for fun, the small minority is complaining as usual. Its really interresting since you guys get pulled into it, new shiny things are always interresting to rally people around. Why not make a video about scorps/typhoons or fire dog builds in pvp, they are all op, far more then this drone, and yet i don't see 4 of you using phoons to shoot a single guy. :)
Ummm not everyone can afford to play clan wars and high ps. Most clan wars players have grinded for years or spent heaps of money to be capable of countering them, and also the team work. So yeah when you play anything under 10k ps drones tend to melt anything
has nothing to do with low PS, people are complaining cause its rewarding for the littlest effort put into a build ever, yeah they arent getting easy 2/0 on CW but they can still manage to win, now compared that to a melee build, one of the things that is always called out for being low skill, you still need a lot of practice and great team work and target prioritization for them to work, those drones have no place in XO
@@adrianlamattina4466 You don't have to play a year to play clan wars, silver league is well in reach with 2 legendary weapons, if you play daily you are able to craft 2-3 legendaries every month, all it takes is time and effort.
@@kizion7589 Mate if anything the drone finnaly is forcing us to build variety in clan wars since it counters fixed angle weapons like typhoon, and scorpions which are among fire dogs the most overwhelming and op builds in cw. Endgame matters more then you think, anything that shakes up a stale meta is good for the game

They do update it regularly but not usually for the better unfortunately.
Pretty much the only busted meta I've seen them fix is spark/harvester

Yeah but then compared to other devs like Digital Eextreme (Warframe) and Respawn (Apex), they're way less involved than them. So as a game itself, not compared to better or worse devs, they can do a lot better

Ok, but these kind of weapons are designed (at least) for support; in other builds where you need more then WASD and ''click'n'go'' to kill the damage percentuals obviously are more rewarding. The problem here beside the fact that they need no effort to use is the damage they need to take to get down. If you want to make small hitboxes, ok! But reward good aiming players with the destruction of. Same with grenadiers.
try stronger radars and the sad thing to say we have to buy subscription fee so we can build it :(

About as fair and balanced as Fox News.
Devil's advocate: While they should have bigger hitboxes or something to shoot down a bit easier......They're not much worse than other metas that suck when a whole team uses it. Grenadiers, 2 or 3 cannons(especially on hovers), shotgun wedge or flame dogs....that we have known nicknames for these is sort of proof of concept. Fact is, while we have a ton of variety in options in theory, the Dev's suck at making them equally viable and higher tier play settles down into just a few sorts of builds. A different perspective: The Ann' drone actually added diversity at their tier, "OP" as they may be called.
Also, Keep in mind, most people aren't going to be using 4 of them at least not for a long time, umpteen promo accounts isn't necessarily a legitimate example of the problem.
Maybe the drone isn't the problem at all. If say, machine guns were more viable, people would use them on builds at higher tiers and these drones would be getting shot down more often. Maybe the Verifier could act as a drone debuffer as well, slowing movement and attack speed, or work it in as an EMP, ruining chameleon and drones in X range(or maybe jsut airborn drones)...
atleast the rest of the "metas" cited take skill to use, thia thing is a single button yet it will work on CW
I like using machine guns and autocannons. They are more like support vehicles that flank or shoot from afar and take out guns/drones. I get a lot of MVPs with them too.

Here is what i don't like about this beautiful game...the devs give new ways to play it, then we ask them to nerf it in to the ground becouse " it's not skillbased "...how about we ask for wepons that need diferent real skill with bigger learing curves, other the "shoting" , like strategy, tactics, memory , maching ,reflexes( like in dead by daylight generator minigame for ex) or even just randome chance of faileing to lunch then( based on the speed of the car for ex) , to use or even activate the drones.
Old video but I'll comment anyway. I LOVE drones. I find them to be incredibly fun. IMO, wedge builds are cancer and I feel the same way about them that you feel about drones. Wedge builds are 0 fun to play against for me. Beauty is that's what makes crossout, crossout. Everyone can build and play how they want to build and play.

hi i think drones are cool and all that but there should be a limit to how many you can have on a build no more than two when you have have 4 friends running drones 4 per player thats just to many

So much butt hurt it's not even funny. This is a game of rock, paper, scissors guys. If you pick paper and you fight scissors you WILL loose. I use a single spark and have no issue with these dumb little drone builds.
Cannon hovers are super meta at 13k+ and I think this is a decent counter to that. Also grenadiers are annoying as well and they are purple, these SHOULD be better , they are legendary. You guys want to nerf it till no one uses it like the harvester. I don't believe the whole nerf mantality is the way to go. Don't nerf , buff it's perfect counter. I don't like drones either but I really don't struggle against them. Just know that whatever you plan to use, There is a counter to. I've seen dogs plow through these builds like nothing. Nothing OP about them.
As toxic as it is to say get better. Overcome. And stop whining. I don't have any drones but I do just fine.
PS. @Mr.G I don't like your nerf encouragement. Instead encourage adaptation. It helps keep the mood light instead of just causing a lot of anger and distress amoung players.

this thing is basically making the game not fun, its not countering anything its just dumb and not fun to fight against, hovers and cannons have the biggest issue with them, and no, spark wont break them like its nothing

What can u do against 2 enemies who are focusing you, or against a good meele? Or 2?
There are games , where nobody is focusing u and u get 6 kills or whatever.
Then there are games , where u die instantly, where half the Team was focusing u and u get nothing 0 Reputation. I killed 2 enemies at the same time with a good meele build als with another Canon build .
Ok im with u of that they are strong and powerfull, but op, idk.
Most of they players have a Favorit weapon. If your weapon is good and strong , eveythink is ok als if not u gonna cry that all the other weapons are stronger, normal guess.
