These are gorgeous! I have 2 steel nibbled Pelikans and they write so beautifully I know at some point I will move up to the gold nibs. And that pen roll is so wonderful ❤️

@@MysteryArts I found a M200 14K medium nib on sale for 113.00. I can’t believe how much I love it. It’s small and light and I’m a bigger, heavier pen fan but I still absolutely love it because it writes like a dream. I’m now actively stalking higher end models. I’ve gotten distracted lately though by the new limited edition Sailors that are about to release so we’ll see. Ha!
@@pagewhite8177 Wow! That’s a good deal. Sailors are nice too, but I’ve found that there is not enough variation in the different nibs to keep me interested in different models. The special editions are always pretty though.
That’s a lovely pen roll. So far I have only one Pelikan, the white tortoise m400 EF same as yours, which I found pre-owned in a little pen shop. I’d been wanting to try a Pelikan so I jumped on it. Made between 1997 and 2003 because of the black crown with 2 chicks, according to my research. At Christmas I got some Birmingham waterproof ink and the Pincushion Moss suits it nicely.

Where do you find your vinetage pens? I love that white tortoise shell M400!
I purchased most of these vintage Pelikans on the second hand app “Mercari”. It really is a mixed bag.
