    Excellent overview and just what I was looking for. Was entertaining the idea of creating with encaustic but needed to see required tools to determine if I have space and meet safety measures in a small multi-unit residence. This was perfect, thank you!

    Hi thanks for the knowledge. Can you use soy wax to clean your brushes.

      hi lynn thanks for the question I would stick with paraffin if you can soy as a second choice but then you're adding soy wax into your overall medium and I just haven't really experienced many people using that. Thanks for asking some people just set their brushes on the hot plate on the lower setting and just let the paint come off that way and then gently dab it on a rag the brush
