Hold the key on the start button hold the lock button and press the star button three time whith the key fob while holding the lock button then stop and wait 10 secs then do it again and it should be reprogramed
The same thing happen to my g and I still can’t figure out what’s the problem I called a locksmith to try reprogram a new key and he told me that the computer not letting him add a new key, this is so annoying I’ve try every solution in the book nothing works I just pray someone has the right answer 🤦🏾♂️
We had the same problem the car would turn on the lights inside would work and when he went to hold the key up. There would be no lights and it wouldn't say anything. And then you put it in a little slot. And it says no key so it wasn't recognizing the key. But what really is happening is it's in maintenance mode. So you have to take it out of maintenance mode.
And how did you get it out of maintenance mode mine works if i put it in the slot it annoying works most the time but sometimes it doesn’t recognize it

But if you research how to take your car out of maintenance mode that might help but if that doesn't work, then it's definitely something wrong with your key fob, like if you took the battery out and put the battery back in, you might have to reprogram the key fob. Somehow are you just didn't put it together right? Or something's not lining up. But it's not a bad battery or anything else. It has either to do with the key fob. Or it's in maintenance mode.
@@jennacyde2057 i think this is probably a after market one on my car works for like a month then eventually it just won’t unlock the door with the fob but lets you from the door then it says no key then i shove it in the port and it starts and works like its supposed to 😐

My car has been doing this since June 2021, a month after I got it. The yellow Key light on my dash has been on ever since. I’ve changed the batteries a dozen times & even taken it to the dealership but they were useless. I hope someone finds a solution for this issue.

Yea my doors can be closed just does it once in a while the alarm won’t lock or unlock how i now its not working then i just put it the port and it goes away for a while maybe the ecu is bad not sure

You have your infinity in maintenance mode, which means you had your foot on the brake and you pressed the start button twice in a row which puts it in maintenance mode. And in order to get it out, you have to put your foot on the brake and push the start button 3 times in a row. And if that doesn't work, put your foot on the brake, take the key fob, hold down the lock button and push it into the starter button 3 times in a row. But that's why it's not starting or recognizing the key.
To tell you the truth, my brother actually did that. I'm not sure how he did it all last, but I'm assuming he did something where he took the key out of the little slot, and I think he did something like pushed the button start button 3 times in a row really fast, it had something to do with pushing the starter button like if you push it twice, it puts it in maintenance mode. I think, and if you push it 3 times it takes it out of maintenance mode. But I'll find out for sure and I'll come back and post.
You have to reprogram the key! Had the same problem kinda, my car was wrecked. After getting it out the mechanic shop … didn’t pay to fix the damages, and I’ve been trying sell it. And the car wouldn’t start thought it was the battery but it wasn’t, the buyer a mechanic reprogrammed the key somehow and it started up. And most likely now will be selling my Infiniti g37 😩

Did you figure this out mine out if nowhere did the same thing and km about to replace the fuse box behind the battery. About a month ago it rained for a week straight and it leaked quite badly from that side I looked at the bcm box by the passenger foot well and it looked fine cleaned it up but the water built up from above so im hoping that's it

Try putting it in the port and see if it will recognize and try starting it with it in there basically what i have to do with mine when it doesn’t decect the key fob
Ive had this issue for some time now, today I noticed that my passenger front and rear floor is wet. It’s clogged drain line from my sunroof that’s leaking down the back of pillar down threw my BCM to the floor. I’m almost 100 percent sure that my bcm is my problem now. I’ll confirm when done. BCM controls key fob.

Stick it inside the lower left insert spot to reset the key

I just put a brand new battery in my key fob and it’s still not detecting
Try putting it in the port and see if it will recognize and try starting it with it in there basically what i have to do with mine when it doesn’t decect the key fob

Your keys looks aftermarket. Start with OE key. Aftermarket keys can give you issues.

Also probably the ignition coil too but first try the spark plugs and the spark plug wires.... and use the iridium spark plugs... best ones. Fyi
