Totally agree. Emma makes Charity the loveable character we care about, despite what the show puts this character through. Somehow, Emma makes whatever they put in front of her work on screen. That takes sheer TALENT and I expect some hard work on her part. Especially when they have her doing so many 180 degree turns where Mac is concerned. Wonder if it's hard for her to keep up with how her character is supposed to feel about him.

Yeah and he doesn’t deserve to be her husband any more he lied to her for months and months and he let her believe they can get married and have a future together she’d better off with another man or women someone who will love her forever and care for her and not cheet on her
Yeah Mackenzie is not welcome here any more he broke her heart this baby changes everything that charity is very upset they need to get a divorce and make sure they never ever let Mackenzie into their life ever again and make sure he stays away from charity for good

Charity was a frightened teenager who’d been repeatedly raped by a police officer. She had nowhere to go and no one to help her. And she didn’t “abandon” Ryan. She left what she thought was a dead baby (Vanessa’s words I believe). It was nothing like this story. Chloe had support ,hugely from Charity who understood her position better than anyone else. There is nothing hypocritical about Charity’s feelings now
